Really proud of this team and happy I was wrong about my early assumptions.

Caught the Wizards a little tired on a back-to-back and just hammered them in the energy categories: +11 offensive rebounds, +5 TO differential, +23 on shots. Didn't even shoot well overall and still won going away.
This team plays so much better almost every night than the sum of its parts, and seems to be able to play through all kinds of injuries and adversity. It's the polar opposite of last year in that regard.

Mother fucking coaching matters. We had dead horses for 5 years, Ott is incredible.

Also, if they don't find a way to keep CG, I'm gonna be devastated.

Yeah
Bud would just say shoot more threes. Ott tells them to play tougher, get deflection, get steals and get on the boards. We virtually never had more shots than out opponents last year. This year we always do. This year everyone is moving. The ball moves and players move. This when is The Villain or Book are not going one on one. CG makes my head spin, he is everywhere.
Yeah we have to extend CG but what about OSO, Goodwin, Boyeah, a Dillon extension, a Williams extension maybe even a Jay Green extension. This team is going to get expensive real quick if they keep this up.
What a pleasure to watch this group.

He should beat Daigneault for COTY, whom SHOULD have a winning record given the sum of all of his parts... Unlike us where he's taken guys and completely elevated them.

Same... but I just don't see that happening.
Same. Daddy Ishbia will take care of his children. He isn't leaving the nest.

Gillespie is the fucking man. They have to keep him at all costs. They also really need to re-sign Mark Williams. Hopefully we can get reasonable-ish deals for both guys and keep this core together.

Before the season I had no confidence in this squad, but I could not have been more wrong about this team. I'm so happy to have been so wrong.

Another scrappy kind of game but one thing that's mostly held true this season - a lot of teams can't/won't play hard all 48 minutes. So even if we're not shooting well or turning the ball over and the game is close for 2 or 3 quarters, we'll usually be able to pull away because the other teams tend to fade.

Thanks as always, Shel, for the post game recap. I really enjoy my morning coffee while reading and watching a ShelC recap especially after a win. I also enjoy watching the full game highlights from the opposing broadcast team. Now that I'm in Phoenix and no longer have League Pass, I don't have the choice of watching the opposing broadcasts anymore.

Replays on basketball-video.com usually have both teams telecasts, if you want to watch the other team.
I usually like to watch that way.
