I agree that he did skip, but I don’t think that’s much of a palm. But it’s not the main point anyway, the point is the ability for offensive players to pick up their pivot foot when they’ve set both feet down in order to gain 3+ ft of space to take a shot. I don’t get how the rule allows this to be legal.

I guess I’m not sure when the rule changed or not, but as far as I can remember, players can lift their pivot foot to shoot or pass.

Kalshi is like the next-level evolution of all the stupid sports gambling sites. Now you can bet on literally ANY stupid thing. Their commercials are so moronic. They show stuff like, "Are the Redcoats coming? 97%. Will Sparta win the battle? 1%." Ridiculous. They couldn't parody themselves harder if they tried. Literally gambling on the outcome as the city burns around them.

They're just getting out ahead of it. They want to tank, which means they don't want him to play. If they announce that it's for health reasons right off the bat, they can probably avoid league penalties.
