You didn't get Sose in trouble - those folks were over-sensitive assholes.Mori Chu wrote:I disavow any knowledge of that situation!Indy wrote:I left that part out...Maybe I had to make this site to repair my karma for getting Sose in trouble.
I plum forgot about that - that was way back when he had that section called "The Links" and that site actually had stuff worth reading.....LazarusLong wrote:It wasn't like the board was flying under the radar at that time. Lang Whitaker when he was at SLAM gave us a shout out a couple of times.
That's right. I was hoping you would chime in. It's been a fun ride.LazarusLong wrote:Don't forget Ladmo. And the Chameleon. I think there was about 40 or so, initially, that joined in the first couple of weeks. Cap, of course, too. Dan H. TripleB.Superbone wrote:This is a place to celebrate that history. We've had many people come and go through the years. MEE touched many of our lives and it was a sad day in our history when we lost her.
Does anybody here remember what year phxsuns.net was first born? We know it came out of a group of us from AZCentral or whatever it was called back in the day and was created to get away from the trolls. (One in particular) I'd love it if long-time posters could give their memories of when we first broke off. Who all was here from the beginning of phxsuns.net? I know for sure myself, Swing, and Laz. Indy? Cap? JJ Slim? Who came later?
I forgot about that too. Good stuff.SwingMan wrote:I plum forgot about that - that was way back when he had that section called "The Links" and that site actually had stuff worth reading.....LazarusLong wrote:It wasn't like the board was flying under the radar at that time. IIRC, SDC outed Cap as sherky.Superbone wrote:I forgot about that too. How about Nodack and Andy S (now Ghost)? Were they there from the beginning?
Remember when Sherky came on board? Wasn't he the Nuggets fan that had a crush on Nene?
Paul Panks. Ha ha, that's it. Thanks.Charlie Smithy! wrote:Paul panks!
The main thing I remember from him was his saying that John paxon's three pointer was worse than one of his family members dying. Good times.
Wha?! Don't remember that at all.Charlie Smithy! wrote:IIRC, SDC outed Cap as sherky.Superbone wrote:I forgot about that too. PLM (was he a bot?) used to post with about the same frequency with the the 0 &__ schtick; though that's probably not who you're thinking of.Superbone wrote:Who was the poster that used to come on once a year and say... (Dang! I can't even remember what it was now.) Something about Kidd? Nash? I can't even remember.
I don't remember that at all.Superbone wrote:I still remember when 'Bazz first joined and I told him I wanted to subscribe to his newsletter.
