I think Cha says no without hesitation whatsoever. Remove MKG and Green and maybe it's a maybe although if I were them I wouldn't do it. Vonleh's potential is too high (honestly I'd be more than happy if we could acquire him for PJ-Plums-Ennis).

Ennis makes a lot of sense for the Hornets though.

Lee doesn't play a lick of defense but he'd be an effective PF for us. You'd need a defensive, shotblocking center behind him though.

His pick and roll ability would give our offense a different (and sorely needed) look, assuming he was healthy. Like in David West's case, he only has one more season remaining on his expensive deal. Cap relief and Plumlee might interest them despite being sending a quality PF to a division rival. We could play them in the postseason, but that would probably mean avoinding the Thunder.

Thoughts?
Love it.

Though, Tyler might have the best career of all the PG's on our roster, when all's said and done. Take Ennis out, and insert Gerald Henderson for MKG, and I'm nuts for this deal, even if it costs us Archie or Bogdan or an actual pick (however acquired).
Gerald Henderson has a $6m contract that goes on past this season. No thanks. MKG is the whole reason I'd want to do the trade. If push came to shove, I'd remove Vonleh and the Minnesota pick.

I also like Biyombo. Very good rebounder on both sides of the ball. Competent backup center and only 22 years old. 4 years younger than Miles.

I don't love the thought of trading Green, but I'd like to send out two of our wings to remove some of the glut and open up time for Warren (and Archie). Marcus and TJ can't be traded for different reasons. The trade would leave us with:

Dragic-Bledsoe-MKG-Kieff-Len
IT-Archie-Warren-Marcus-Biyombo/Tolliver
Shav-Zoran

We'd still be a little small, but have a team with more upside. Maybe we could flip Tolliver for Reggie Evans.

That's the problem with Lee. He's out injured a lot.

I'm not particularly interested in MKG. I think Warren will be the better player. Vonleh's my target. If we could nab without giving up Ennis, Bledsoe, Warren, Len, the Morrii, or the LA pick, well... damn! I agree, though, that Ennis makes sense for them.

WRT Henderson, I get that nobody wants bad contracts, but that's the thing - nobody wants bad contracts. I'd rather pay than give up young talent, given where our team is in terms of development.

Apropos of nothing, but if anyone's having a bad day, just remember that in another Lance Blanks-ier universe, we'd be running out a starting lineup that includes Ray Felton, Eric Gordon and Michael Beasley.

Well, on the bright side, we have our own first rounder no matter what, right?

Yep. If the chips fall right with the Lakers and we continue our downward spiral :x, we might have two very high lottery picks in the next draft.

We need bigs! Fix the paint!!! (Right, Gene?)

Another great thing - some of the teams near the top of the draft don't really need bigs - Detroit, Utah, Philly. Detroit especially could be a great trade partner.

What a depressing game last night. What happened since last year?! We were so fun to watch! On paper, we got better this year. Too bad the games aren't played on paper. Shake it up!

Too many guys who are getting less playing time than they think they deserve (and are probably right).
From last season, we lost Frye from the rotation and added IT, Warren, Ennis and (effectively) Len. Plus Archie in his second year should be getting some minutes, Markieff and Marcus are developing. It just doesn't add up.

I'm not sure if the Suns know what direction they're going in right now. We're playing guys like Tolliver in an effort to secure the 8th seed so we can get swept in the first round - all at the expense of the young guys. We're clearly a notch below the 7 teams ahead of us and OKC.

Either we need to make a trade to bring us up a notch or we need to develop our young talent. We're still stuck in the middle and facing down another #14 pick in the draft.

Yep. One or the other but no standing pat.

That's what is encouraging in the mid of the recent events. As long as we are over .500 and in the top 8, the Front office can fool themselves into standing pat and search for "internal improvement", but the recent record and the lack of cohesion will push for a move to balance this unbalanced roster, it is clear that the frontcourt rotation is losing us games, and the back court rotation is overcrowded, as the recent games without IT showed us.

IT is not the problem, I think any time one of our PG goes out, the other two will improve their game given the extraminutes and improvement on flow and rythm. I love Goran and want him to retire on the team, and Thomas is what he is, like Green, either you love them or hate them, and damn, some times it happens from one minute to the next. I happen to like Gerald as well, so any move shipping out Bledsoe and/or Thomas for a difference maker big man, would be great for me. Ryan Anderson, Al Horford, one of the Utah bigs, I wonder what are price tags going on over the phone, that had prevented us from making one move.

The most obvious way to clear playing time for Warren, Goodwin and Ennis would be to move players like Tucker, Green and Thomas.

I am all for committing to the young guys and hopefully picking up another couple of pieces at the same time.

I agree. While Green is fun to watch and a crowd-pleaser (when he's on) right now is a perfect time to sell high on him. Tucker could also be a good trade asset.

This may sound crazy, but Green and a combo of assets for Josh Smith might work. Smith can be a stretch 4, and plays defense. His contract is a bit high, to be sure, but he had only two years left, He'd give Phoenix the size and speed they need up front. And Smith would probably love Phoenix, where he would not be in Drummond and Monroe's shadow.
