You guys probably don't want to listen to the Hornacek interview from today then. They asked him about Green... think it's safe to say he's gone.

I listened to the interview. Didn't hear anything about Green. The Bickley & Marotta interview?carey wrote:You guys probably don't want to listen to the Hornacek interview from today then. They asked him about Green... think it's safe to say he's gone.
That has been very apparent.ShelC wrote:...and that guys seemed too content to just try and score rather than play team ball.
Jeff said they have a lot of young players and do lack leadership. Said that Archie was right, he needs guys who think about scoring less and passing more. Regarding Archie's comment about not having defined roles, he said thats what players say when they don't think they get enough playing time.ShelC wrote:Archie had some interesting things to say in an article today. Seemed to take some shots at the coaching staff re: sub patterns and the rotation, guys not know if/when they'll play, and not having defined roles. He also said there was a void in leadership (mentioned Frye specifically, which I think has been vastly overlooked) and that guys seemed too content to just try and score rather than play team ball.
No. This morning on Doug & Wolf.Shabazz wrote:I listened to the interview. Didn't hear anything about Green. The Bickley & Marotta interview?carey wrote:You guys probably don't want to listen to the Hornacek interview from today then. They asked him about Green... think it's safe to say he's gone.
A mute, 2 morons, and a drunk. If those aren't leadership qualities, I guess we're doing it wrong.ShelC wrote:Archie's also 20. Core guys who need to step up should be (as per their contract and thus standing on the team) Bledsoe, the Morris Bros and Tucker.
Yeah, I have a hard time thinking of guys that play sporadically as your core. It doesn't mean they aren't in your future, but the guys that have been in a league a while, start, and you pay the most, should be your core and should be the leaders. We don't have any on the team. Jeff needs an extension of himself on the team.ShelC wrote:Archie's also 20. Granger has no history here and not much of a future here. Combine that with not having much of a role in the present, and I think he'd be in a difficult place from which to exercise leadership. He's a temp.Indy wrote:Yeah, I have a hard time thinking of guys that play sporadically as your core. I was actually thinking Granger could play that role. But I am not sure we are going to keep him around. If he doesn't opt out, it is only like 2 million. Seems like a really cheap, veteran, and smart player to have around. Even if he doesn't play much.
Sorry - that's what I meant. I didn't hear him mention Green at all.carey wrote:No. This morning on Doug & Wolf.Shabazz wrote:I listened to the interview. Didn't hear anything about Green. You know what, I tuned in a bit late and thought they were talking about the Green article and his comments. It could have been about Archie's just as well since they were very similar.Shabazz wrote:

Phoenix police say Marcus and Markieff Morris put those words into action when they and three others committed felony aggravated assault against a man the 25-year-old twins learned had sent "inappropriate" text messages to their mother.
Police have made no arrests and no charges have been filed. A spokesman for the Maricopa County Attorney's Office confirmed Tuesday afternoon that prosecutors are continuing to review the case submitted by police.
For their part, the Morris twins have denied assaulting the reported victim, whom they also claim not to know, and their mother denies having been in contact with the man on the day of the incident, though authorities found evidence to the contrary, the police report shows.
