I'm hoping his teammate Dakari Johnson will drop to us at 44.

I think we made a good trade for Leur. Jon Leur has the potential to be a slightly shorter Dirk. He can dribble, shoot , etc. He has all the qualities of a Dirk type player. i'm pretty sure he just needs a new area code to stretch his wings. I can see a starting line up with Leur - he also played in Germany in 2011 so he probably has similar skills as Dirk. He's the poor mans Porzingas .

Because it happens so often? Unfortunately, you have to pick in your given order. Wasn't sure if you were aware of that.

I don't have anything against Leuer (he'd be a decent free agent to pickup for the minimum), but it is disappointing that the Suns traded a second rounder for him. I would have much preferred drafting Dakari Johnson, Branden Dawson, or Norman Powell.

What did you think of the Booker pick based on who was available at 13?

Not bad. Not something I'm excited about either.

Silly. There are so many college teams would'v Booker be the #1 guy on, you cant penalize him for going to an NBA factory.

Welcome back INF, you were missed.

The suns addressed a glaring need with Booker, But it's not something that moves the needle to much.
Wish there was someway we could get into the Aldridge/Love sweepstakes. LaMarcus seems hellbent on going back to Texas and I have a feeling Love wounds up in LA.
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

This is probably already posted somewhere on the board (sorry, carey) but I enjoyed this scouting video about Booker. Looks like a very complete player despite being so young. I love his shooting form and the fact that he keeps his arm out after each shot until it goes through the net.

FYI:
"I understand the comparison with Justise, but that was not the comparison for us," Van Gundy said. "The choice was not between those two at the end. Stanley has versatility and physicality, and a chance to be a very, very, very good defender. Even as a rookie, I don't see him backing away from any challenge."

The other choice actually was Kentucky guard Devin Booker, so the outside debate wasn't penetrating the Pistons' draft room.

And that comes from a guy who is watching pre-draft workouts without socks!

So you got to give the man some credit ...

i'm lurking at times, and occasionally post about tv in general. separate from any other issue's we've had... i won't be thinking about a big return until we dump eric bledsoe. fuck that guy. hated that signing since the second it happened; i knew it would end badly and how it would end, and i was sadly right. i'm still not over the (pun maybe intended) tragic loss of dragic. i don't think i've ever honestly disliked a suns team as much as this one in 20 years. i'll consider reinvesting once the Morrii and Bledsoe are gone.
