It's a different Marcus Thornton. The one on our team signed with Houston.
I was going to say, "our" Marcus Thornton is a little old for summer league.

Announcer Joel Myers couldn't stop talking about how poised Booker is and how we really scored with that pick.

Len did well on the boards and he's just noticeably bigger than everyone else. I know it's summer league but even just the way he's filled out and built up his body is impressive. At one point late in the game a bunch of guys were in the lane tipping the ball around and he just reached up and pulled it down. I also liked that I saw him tipping the ball up, either to himself or just back out to the top of the key to the guards. That's something Tyson's become sort of a master at. He may not grab the rebound, but he can keep it alive or let a teammate get it.

Didn't see Booker hit any 3s but he looks pretty deadly coming off screens in the midrange. He'll be fine either way. He just looks so comfortable and in control out there.

Booker's catch and shoot game is going to be good. Just needs to add strength, above all the legs, to get comfortable from the NBA 3pt sistance. One on one is not going to be his thing but if his production gets to merit a reputation the pick. I've seen effort on defense, and he keeps an eye on what is going on which gives him an advantage to leak for fastbreaks.

Maybe a more athletic JJ Redick.

Oh, and I totally echo those who want McConnell over Price.

If he turns into a move athletic Redick that pick is a Home run.

It's the form that you gotta love. Players are going to go through cold spells, but with that form he's already he won't go through many.

Myers is so annoying. I remember when he use to be the Lakers play by play guy.

He was 2 for 5.

Check out the highlights on NBA.com. The recap guy was having a field day with Booker's middle name, Armani. Booker was the guest on The Starters yesterday when he revealed his middle name.

If you go to Booker's NBA.com page you can see the Starter's segment (Build A Bio):

I didn't see the whole game. I do remember two of Devin's 3-point attempts: one from the corner that was good, and one from near the elbow that was short. Coming up short on the longer threes seems to be pretty consistent, for now.

Also, the few times Warren got the ball early on the shot clock, he showed a lot of floor leadership. I think he can play some point forward when the guards aren't getting it done.

You can see both 3-point makes in the link above.
