Funny. All the hand wringing, all the posts discussion tweets etc etc and then media day goes off without a hitch. No drama at all.

Sweet.

Not a real convincing acting job.

Amin Elhassan says it's just a ploy to get off the team honorably. That this is just Markieff and the Suns working together to find a worthwhile trade. I wouldn't be surprised if the Suns told Markieff they'll do their best to ship him to Detroit or at least somewhere close to his brother.

Behind the scenes of Media Day. Random observations: I don't like how they make these guys wear those silly props for photos. It's crazy that we have 4 Kentucky guards.

Kieff's a douche but at least he's playing the game this time around.

Also, Philly might be a willing trade partner. Kieff would work well next to either Noel or Okafor. We could take back Carl Landry who could still provide a pick and pop threat opposite Len/Chandler.

I'm pretty optimistic about the influence he will have on the team. That and the coaches talking about defense being a priority. Hopefully that actually lasts through the season.

Just going up against Chandler in practice every day has to help Alex. He is going to get a lot of practice defending the pick and roll. Having a much better defender to practice his post moves on should make a big difference as well.

Now the real magic will be if Chandler can get our power forwards to play defense and rebound. :)
