So many times where the Thunder just throw up a shot, but they get like 2-3 offensive boards over our outstretched arms, so they eventually score. Hate always being the small team that can't rebound.

We've been hanging in there but it seems to be slowly getting away from us.

I hope we never sub out this group . My strategy would be 'fuck it no strategy"
definitely would like to see this squad play all 48 even if they are combined 1-100
Gumption!!!!

Suns entire team: 9 assists.

I was looking at the box score and was wondering what is wrong with this team, and how to fix it. Seeing how well Bledsoe was doing without Knight on the floor, I wonder if the source of the Suns' problems really is the 2pg lineup without two real PGs. How would the Suns look with a big distributor next to Bledsoe, like an Eric Snow? Or...Goran Dragic?
I am starting to wonder if McD has a thing for athletic PGs that really aren't PGs, kind of like Avery in Boston. And I'm getting very, very tired of Brandon Knight's shot selection. It's fine for a full-time SG to be a bomber if he's not handling the ball very much and directing the flow of the offense. It's another to have the ball in your hands so much and just keep on chucking away. We knew this about Brandon Knight. Why didn't McDonough? And why isn't Hornacek laying into him?

I had my hopes for Knight, but in this game he's been an expert at handing out TOs, rather than assists.

One of the many problems is the current starting unit. Chandler is a solid defender and rebounder, but is not offensively gifted. Ditto with PJ, to some extent. So you only have three alleged scorers, one of whom is Markieff. He is shooting a blistering 36% from the field so far this year. And in this game, he has taken the most shots, with 20. Not exactly a recipe for world basketball domination.
Interesting note: both TJ and Kieff have made 7 FGs at this juncture. It took TJ 10 attempts, Kieff 20.

Well, at least I was a quarter off. It wasn't until midway through the 4th that we were totally out of the game.

It's a real issue if you're playing Chandler and Tucker together. You can't afford to have a couple of non-scorers out there unless you're a team like OKC and how many teams have two stars like that?

This team isn't getting better. Probably the opposite. Such a poor product from top to bottom. Markieff -29 tonight. Brandon Knight with 8 TOs and not even having to handle the ball every time. With the exception of Bledsoe in the first half this team has pretty much already given up. Even Chandler looked frustrated by all the dumbasses around him.

We're not building and we're not winning. Success! 6 years of missing the playoffs in a row and counting....

I missed this one. Was in the hospital again. Sounds like this team doesn't have any heart. That's sad.

This does not look like a playoff team, especially not in the West.

Sorry about that. It is probably better that you missed it.
Feel better soon carey!

Really sorry to hear that. I hope you feel better soon. I wouldn't say they don't have any heart, they're just not that good with the current rotations and offensive sets. Way too much one-on-one and not hardly any teamwork.

Get well soon, carey. Hope Knight and Morris's shooting isn't what put you there!

Hope everything is OK Carey.
Morris's shooting will cost Hornacek his job if he keeps giving him the minutes he does. Tucker and Chandler aren't scorers and when Morris is off like he has been all season that leaves them with only 2 players that can score which is just a disaster. Horny can't keep this line up else he's done because the team doesn't stand a chance. Tucker at 42% and Morris at 36% is just too abysmal to justify starting both of them.

Don't forget that Knight has been inconsistent in his scoring, too. It leaves a ton of burden on Bledsoe and Morris to carry the scoring load, and they are both high-volume shooters and not always high-efficiency.
