I was going to say the same thing about playing at another level. The guy is just hard to stop and he can't miss lately it seems. How about when he was dancing around near the end of the 1st half and then he just throws it in with the left hand from 10 feet?

I just finished watching the first half. What a shellacking! The Nuggets couldn't hit the ocean from a boat right now. We're just picking them apart.

I've watched almost this entire game and it feels like Barton has played every single minute.. He's the only Nugget out there playing hard.

Well, I guess three good quarters is going to have to be good enough.

I'm liking the back court combination of Booker and Goodwin. Booker would be the primary ball handler and Goodwin has improved in his scoring and limiting boneheaded plays. Weems should be 12th man at best.

30 big points for Bledsoe again. He has been proving me wrong all year. Great win for our guys. Amazing how we get so much better the more Morrii you remove from the game.

Fun fact: The Suns lead the league in Free Throw defense at 65%

And then they extend the lead to 34 after 3! No letdown from these guys. I like it.

Suns need a low post presence in the worst way though. It'd be great it they could flip a combo of Goodwin,Kieff, and Tucker for just that. Witht he way the backcourt has been clicking lately you can kind see what they were thinking with Aldridge.
Also...Bledsoe has been on a nice role lately. Props to him, making that 14per look like a damn good deal right now.

Just home from day 1 of yet another baseball tournament. I was there for almost 8 hours. So tired. Anyway, I missed the game.

Sounds like a solid win, but it must be too much to ask for Knight to reel off a few good games in a row at this point, huh? If I were a betting man I'd have bet he'd have a shitty shooting night tonight. Money in the bank. Kieff always plays like dog crap after a big game too. Bledsoe put up nice numbers tonight. They won by 24 and only shot 43% from the field. They outrebounded Denver by 14, so that probably helped some.

C'mon, we had our third string in all 4th.

The final score doesn't represent the game at all. The Suns were up by 37 at one point in the third. We played our third string the entire 4th quarter.

What's even better than watching the Suns win in wire-to-wire dominating fashion?
Doing it without Keef.

We have the 3rd highest scoring backcourt in the NBA right now, behind GS and Portland. Bledsoe is doing his thing, Knight is streaky. It'll be interesting to see if Bledsoe can maintain and keep his game, both physical and mental, elevated throughout the year and lead the team.
I read before the game that Hornacek reminded the team about the 30 or so pt loss in the preseason, obviously they responded. And I love this quote from Mike Malone:
“There’s no excuses here. They kicked our [expletive] plain and simple. Give them credit: we’re not going to say it’s the second night of a back to back, we have injuries. That’s the NBA.”
Um...you just said it.

Bledsoe had a heck of a week. For three games he averaged:
34.0 minutes
28.0 points
8.0 assists
6.3 rebounds
1.4 steals
.682 fg%
.636 (3fg)%
.895 ft%

That's All-Star in the WEST numbers. But he will never get in unless he averages that till Christmas. He will need to be a coach's selection because fans aren't exactly big Suns supporters. Even then the field is crowded with Curry, Paul, and Conley just the tip of the iceberg.

Nuggs sort of gave up the ghost toward the end of the second quarter. Suns, to their credit, responded and shoveled a lot of dirt on the grave for this game.
Denver is going to be hold and very cold for much of the season as long as they have the kid running the PG. Malone has guts to make the move, but it's a good risk. The rookie looks like he's about 25 physically instead of 19 or 20.
In a perfect world, I'd start Teletovic and see if he can get it going offensively. Then go with Leuer, who is used to coming off the bench.
Somebody mentioned it before, but Weems appears to be this season's Childress.
