Wow. That's the most encouraging thing I've seen written about the Suns in YEARS.

Their record doesn't reflect it. Maybe they are about to go on a winning streak.

They just ended a 3 game winning streak.

And we're the youngest of those teams.

Yeah, the Suns are all alone in that they hit all 3 venn diagrams.

Very Arizona Cardinals-esque. Top 3 in offense and defense (Cardinals). Usually a recipe for success.

Phoenix Suns dual playmaker "system" generating All-Star stats for Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight:

With Bleds and Knight being young and under contract, and Goodwin and Booker on the bench, I feel pretty good about the state of our backcourt for the next few years.
Tucker, Morris, and Chandler are place holders. I have no idea what our front court will look like in a few years, but hopefully Warren and Len are a part of it and playing at a very high level. They're both have lots of the P-word.

Yes, the frontcourt is definitely going to take some work. Other than Chandler, Warren and Len I don't think there's much worth planning on keeping.

We need a 4 of the future in the worst way. I wish that could have been Markieff, but he's tainted now.

Leuer is pretty decent for a backup. He plays the right way, moving, passing the ball and can do a little of everything, even a bit of driving. To boot, he is making half of his 3pts.
One way to solidify the frontcourt could be adding a real starter SF or a tweener SF/PF, and using PJ Tucker at the 4 some minutes every game. Tucker seems to have lost one step laterally to guard quicker wings, but being that strong and active I believe he'd have success against certain PFs.

Great article. Really rooting for B. Knight. I think he's a better player then Bledsoe, although Eric has looked great this yr too. Suns need a low post presence, but the backcourt is rounding into shape.

So many (almost everybody here) writing off Knight and wanting the draft pick. Knight is looking dang good. A bird in the hand folks.
