I really hope Eric has no structural damage. You never want to see that on any player much less your own.
But being the glass half full guy I am, could actually be a benefit. We're going to be pretty awful most likely without him, but it will aloow Booker and hopefully Goodwin to get mintues next to Knight to see how a traditional Point guard/2 guard lineup works and get those guys experience while most likely give us a leg up for a top 5 pick.
Hornecek will be fired soon...Like others wold love to get a guy like Thibs in here or an experiened boss to get things guided in the right direction next yr.

Plus it will most likely force the front office to give up any aspirations of playoff talk and push them in the direction of moving P.J., Morris and others at the deadline although I believe they were going to do that anyways

Uh oh. Is this the knee that's bone-on-bone for Bledsoe?

Again, could also be a blessing in disguise and let Hornacek coach a more traditional lineup of Knight and Booker in the backcourt, with Knight in the more familiar PG role and a knockdown shooter to spread the floor. Could be similar to when Bledsoe went down 2 seasons ago and Dragic took over PG duties. Not saying Knight is the same player as Dragic but the effects could be similar.
Then the question will be can Knight and Bledsoe co-exist, and to what end.
If Hornacek goes, bring in Thibs right away and let him coach the rest of the year and get a feel for the roster. Then he and McD can work out who stays and who goes.
But I think the former will take place with us righting the ship while Bledsoe is out. Hornacek will keep/save his job for another year and we'll pretend everything can work out with Bledsoe and Knight.

What's this "out until the All-Star break" stuff? I thought it was diagnosed as a sprain. That's going to take him out for nearly two months?
In other news, the Patriots and Jets go into OT, the Patriots win the coin toss, and Matt Slater accidentally chooses to kick off. Jets score on their first possession. We gotta get Slater for the Suns.

The Jets-Pats game was crazy. I feel like every week now it's something with the refs.

Was this the ref's fault, or Slater's? I think Slater did say, "We want to kick."

What happened? I was out this morning and I'm seeing twitter chatter about something weird going on.

Coin toss confusion. Looked like the ref pointed at the Pats guy and affirmingly(?) said "You want to kick". The Pats player nodded in agreement, then realized what he agreed to and reversed and said no, no, no. Ref wasn't having it.
Didn't look like the ref asked "Do you want to kick or receive" and the Pats also usually elect to kickoff at the start of games, so the Pats player might have just zoned out and messed up and elected to kick? Kind of a comedy of errors.
The rest of the game was great tho too.

Woj with this:

Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver and general manager Ryan McDonough held individual meetings with Suns players on Sunday, trying to gain a deeper understanding of the issues surrounding the team's spiral, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
The Suns are 12-20 to start the season, including a humiliating defeat to the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night in Phoenix. Ownership and management has been reluctant to fire coach Jeff Hornacek, affording him every chance to work the team out of its struggles, league sources said.

Watch Hornacek start Price. Or at least play him next to Knight most of the game.
