Here's an idea: guard the three-point shooters.

The Jazz are doing whatever they want offensively.

I love 4 Suns standing around the key watching the shot go up with one Jazz under the basket. No one moves closer to box out they just stand there watching the shot. Of course the jazz get the rebound.

We asked for Leuer to start ahead of Keef. We got it.

We asked for TJ and Devin in the starting lineup. We got it.

We asked for a strategy, even if it's tanking...

This team looks broken right now. Maybe starting a lineup that has played zero minutes together so far this season wasn't a great idea.

They may not score more than 32 but I doubt that they'll give up more than 180.

Bledsoe 1-5 FG. He doesn't know what else to do with the ball, so he just shoots.

At least the Jazz still employ the human run stopper Trey Burke. (Boy was I wrong about that guy )

Suns shooting 30%, Jazz shooting 65%

I don't think I'll ever get to that point. I do hope we make strategic decisions that will benefit the team long term rather than short term.
Strategic decisions that will benefit long term will only be forced onto the organization if we continue to lose big. Strategic decisions that will benefit long term include:

- Fire Hornacek
- Send PJ Tucker to Europe
- Trade Markieff
- Make Ronnie Price the 15th man and play Archie and Booker more
- Blow up the failed 2 PG experiment where neither player is intelligent

Clearly the rest of these things cannot happen as long as Hornacek is coach, so he's got to go first. And the only way the org will do that is if they continue to lose big. So lose big. I can't get behind this team. They are bad, not fun to watch, and have no promise going forward as currently constructed. I want my team to win, so for now they have to lose. I'm not satisfied with this bullshit they put out.
While I agree that some subset of those actions are due, I don't think it's wise to make these moves in one fell swoop either. I hope that this franchise can have a clear vision, let's say, for 2015-2016, to not set the playoffs as a goal but to improve the young talent on the roster and figure out who the true building blocks, are and then to do everything to make sure that happens. Or we could find another strategy; whatever it is, it needs to be coherent and the whole franchise, top to bottom, must stick to it.

So if the aforementioned strategy is one that we want to go with, then the front office needs to ask Hornacek to follow suit and give the youngsters more minutes (I'm a little conflicted about this, because I don't believe in the front office telling the coach how to do his job; on the other hand the collective vision of the franchise should be bought into by the coach, of all people...), we should move Kieff and Tucker, and personally I wouldn't be against moving Chandler, as long as he is okay with the destination, and we should just stick to the stretch four rotation we currently have, if at all possible.

I'm frustrated with the backcourt's basketball IQ, but I'm willing to give them a chance to improve over the next year and a half, as they can be reasonable building blocks or at least valuable trade chips should the on-court product not work out as expected.
Hornacek is the very first problem. I don't want him following suit, I want him gone......

We were doing so well with the turnovers until the last few minutes.

Really glad Ronnie price is getting 5 minutes. The 6 minute experiment of starting Devin Booker was clearly forced upon Hornacek. He has no interest sticking to his new rotations.

This 12 man rotation really allows players to get into a flow too. Warren had 7 points in the first Q on 3/6 shooting. We should rest him the whole second quarter to let him think about it and learn for the future, he's not helping us win at all right now that's what we have Tucker for!!!

Terrific way to end the half. We're very creative in finding ways to screw up the ends of periods.

I think I'm out for tonight. The Saints are down 28-3 and the Suns are down 16. Think I should just call sports a day.
