Though I don't totally agree with him. I will miss Kobe because I love the way he's ruining the Lakers. He's a spectacle by being so completely bad. I would rather have this Kobe than a good Kobe any day. And I'd rather see the Lakers continue to suck and be dominated by him than let them move on and start rebuilding and getting good again.

All Star voting sucks, I wish it'd go away forever.

I think it is necessary. Popularity contest or not, people should have a way to tell the league who they want to watch in this kind of event.

What I wish is that the voting system was a little more polished. Guards/Forwards is too broad for my taste. At the very least, distinction for big men and PGs. PG-SG-SF then PF/C. Or PG - SG/SF - PF/C.
