I watched most of the Heat/Warriors game. The Heat played them tight the whole way but GS pulled it out in the end. Thompson scored 15 straight points midway through the 4th and then Curry took over with two huge threes.

It was fun to watch Dragic. Who's stupid idea was it for Dragic to not handle the ball 100% of the time he was on the court when he was with the Suns?!

There was a horrible moving screen by Draymond on that play.

Varejao is out there getting big time buckets. I should have said it's 4 minutes to go in the 3rd. Sorry about that!

I already caught my own mistake, Popeye!

Curry has 48 but Orlando is hanging in there within 7.

ah, corrected yourself as I was typing the reply 8-)

Curry is unreal. Can't believe we could (should) have gotten him for Amare in '10

They really do want the record. Brought Curry back in with 5 minutes left to seal it. He'll finish with 51 on 10 made 3's.

That Warriors team is really something. I have been watching a lot of their games, and it's just a joy. They pass it so freely and just genuinely want each other to do well. It feels like the '06 Suns, only more talented.

playing 3 pgs at the same time wasnt so bad... making dragic guard ariza or chandler parson in the 4th qtr isnt the worst sin...

no, the biggest mistake is not making dragic the lead PG (ALWAYS) in the 2-pg system and the 3-pg system

That was my point. Dragic should have always been primary ball handler when he was on the court. I don't care who you put with him.

Sadly I guess the prevailing theory was that Dragic was the only guy who could play off the ball, catch and shoot, etc. Bledsoe and IT are not real shooters. Not that I liked what happened.

If Dragic is the lead ballhandler, then it's useless to have Bledsoe and Thomas out there. They all three need the ball in their hands to be most effective. It was a stupid system plain and simple.

Agreed

Can your pg work as a spot up shooter? Can he pick and pop? Can he come off screens and get himself open for jump shots that he knocks down? If he's not comfortable playing off the ball all the time, how could you have a two pg team? Each of the pgs need to have these skills and be effective to have a 2 pg system. And, that's only on the offensive side of the floor.

The biggest problem with the 2 or 3-pg system was that Dragic was the best one at ALL THREE positions. Dragic was the best distributor, so he ought to hold the ball and be the PG. And he was the best shooter, so he ought to be the SG. And he was the biggest and most versatile, so he ought to be the SF.

The other two guys were not as good or nearly as versatile of players as Dragic, and it was dumb from the start to put 3 PGs out there. Dragic was the only keeper of the bunch, and we alienated him and got rid of him. Ugh.

I know he's only been there for 2 weeks but Kieff is averaging 6pts and 5Rebs on 29% shooting in 4 gms so far. Wiz are 2-2 and struggling in Philadelphia as I speak. Trade looks even better 2 weeks later
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

No technicals (I'm assuming) and no flipped off fans. So there's that.

he wasnt the best OUTSIDE shooter among the three (IT, bleds, dragic), that's why you make him the primary ballhandler.

and the 3 PG model seems to be working in boston.

Wow. OKC was up 4 on the Warriors with less than 15 seconds to play. Warriors got a quick two. Got a steal and Iggy hit two pressure FTs to send it to OT.
