That T on Booker was a head scratcher.

No kidding. Refs lt the guys play in the last 5 minutes, letting minor fouls go. Booker woofs a bit at Barnes, who gives Booker a forearm. Refs call a T on Booker. Brilliant.
Wasn't a game changer, though.
Booker, Chandler, Len and Price seem to be a decent combination. Len is dropping some nice passes to teammates.

Another W? WTF!
Props to Len and Booker though. Alex is just on a tear. Book showing off the vision again with 9dimes to go along with 27

Uh, oh. All of a sudden, this team has a lot of confidence. The future is here. Len and Booker with monster games! Both of these guys are tough sons of bitches as well. You can see how well Booker is respected after the game when he got respect from a bunch of the Grizzlies players.
I'm afraid this is going to cost us some ping pong balls.

I can see the league resending the technical.
If Len keeps up the intensity, he could end up being our best player. He looks like he's starting to realize he's bigger then everyone else on the floor and plays accordingly. He has good positioning on rebounds and boxes out well.
Today Len and Booker were the best players on the floor.

Impressed by Len's defense and rebounding - he was great at securing the ball, and he switched out twice onto Conley and didn't get lost. Conley made some moves but got nowhere. Awesome.

We're pretty set in the 3rd/4th spot in the lottery. I'm ok with wins like this.

So is Len now solidified as a 4? Or is it a coincidence

Word. The difference in our young players' play >>> an additional 9% chance at a top 3 pick. I like Simmons at #1, but I don't think there's much of a difference between #3-6. Knowing that 2/3 of our last 3 top picks are future all-star candidates (and sooner rather than later)? Priceless.

Len's ability to switch is impressive, but he can only really afford to do it if he has another rim protector /rebounder on the court. He's also getting better at handling different types of defenders - he's doing a lot of growing. Handling PFs and Cs equally well. Tonight they added that high-low from Len to Chandler, which was very effective (and the main reason Len had 6 assists tonight).
If we're going to feature a lot of traditional low-post offense, then we need to play elite defense. Whoever's next to Len needs to be able to help defend the paint - whether that's a PF or a C. Lookin' at you Nerlens! Len-Nerlens. Sounds like an overpriced car or resort.

Fun win.
I'd love our offense to find ways to get Booker more catch and shoot 3s. He seems to never miss those. His pull up 3s go in at a much lower rate, but it seems defenses have adjusted and those are the looks he's getting. We have to adjust to the adjustment.

What a bunch of idiots. Yea they sure showed us...
I'm pumped to see Booker and Len playing like this. But at the same time, we're also gonna screw ourselves out of a top again...like we've been doing for EVER.

No we aren't. We were never going to catch the Lakers and Brooklyn WANTS to win and has any easy schedule. Winning right now doesn't hurt draft prospects and it is fatastic for the young players. Can't wait until Len gets his first 30-20 game.

Doesn't matter if Brooklyn WANTS to win, they won't be doing it. I WANT a million dollars, does that mean I'm gonna get it? No.
Brooklyn was even resting Thaddeous Young and Brook Lopez against the TWolves and they got murdered by them. Minnesota shot 68% from the field against them. Have even the Suns ever in franchise history shot 68% in a game? Don't think so.

It was the second night of a back to back overtime win. They didn't want to play fatigued players that would end up having a chance of getting injured.

I'm not complaining about the Nets losing to Minny... I can tolerate falling behind BKN in the tankathon, but not MIN. Go Timberwolves!!

I get confused by the terminology when people talk about tanking. When people use phrases like "we'll never pass LA" or "falling behind BKN" I never know if they mean having a better or worse record than those teams. I assume people are talking about trying to get to a worse record, but it is definitely backwards from the usual verbiage.

I didn't watch a ton of this one. I felt like I had already watched it since we just played them. Glad Booker and Len had good games again. Len is really surprising me. Could he be our future PF?

Don't know if Len is a future "4" ... but learning to play on the high block as well the low block gives his offensive game some versatility, which certainly is a good thing.

This move to the PF experiment is working nicely. Good to see him get more touches and situations to use his offensive versatility. I still think he's a true center, but this helps him going forward. The nice thing about having at least these 2 young building blocks in Len and Booker are that the top of the draft is good prospects that could fit in with the Suns and not duplicate positions.
Edit*** I was writing that before Laz's post. Seems that I duplicated a lot of what he wrote.
