He’s just not the same player he was in 2019.
For sure he's declined a little bit from his prime, but I thought he looked great overall and wasn't the reason they lost. He had 27/10/5 in Game 6, and 22/5 in Game 7 before it became a rout. He looked pretty darn good to me. Harden seemed more bumpy to me; he played well in Game 6 (28/8/6) but not so well in Game 7 (7 points).

I think the biggest issue was they didn't have enough guys they could trust in a tight playoff game. Batum gave them a great Game 6 but then completely disappeared in Game 7. Bogdanovic was consistently mediocre. Dunn gave them very little. And then most of the rest of their bench was a real puu puu platter.
He was -33 last night while on the floor. If that means anything to you

Yeah my point was that he’s still pretty good, but even when he’s healthy, he’s showing his age.

Most teams probably interested in Giannis more than KD, like the rockets, but Bucks wouldn’t trade Giannis to a division rival in the pacers, so pacers are kinda of a perfect KD trade partner. Don’t think there’s player they could trade for that’ll make them a contender but KD would.

Would KD want to go? I think KD wants to go somewhere where he’ll contend and a core of Hali-KD-Siakam-Turner totally would.

Indy: KD, 29th overall pick

Suns: Nembhard, Obi Toppin, Ben Mathurin, Jarace Walker, 23rd overall pick, 2 1st

The difference is that everybody knows the Suns are going to shop Durant, a lot of people don't think Milwaukee will be interested in trading Giannis for what they're offered.

Okay, Mr. Gregory, time to get on the phones and show us what you got, you have 7 and a half days to get our pick back before the lottery.

Praying that Milwaukee refuses to take calls about Giannis so that Houston makes a deal with us instead.

The low-key crazy thing that could happen is, Houston could even potentially deal for both Giannis AND KD if they played their assets right. That's how many picks and young players they have. Not very likely (and not even sure Giannis + KD is a good combination to have) but not impossible.

Houston would have to restructure their entire offense for Giannis, I don't see the fit there personally. KD is the perfect fit to what they lack.

I think Houston would need to move Sengun for Giannis…I think those two won’t work. They would also need to prioritize shooting, which they don’t have a lot of. You’re right they’d need to change quite a bit.

But if we want to trade KD for him, don’t we need them to lose in the second round? :P

OMG! This OKC/DEN game 1 is STOLEN by Denver after 2 huge missed FTs from Chet Holmgren leads to a huge 3 by Aaron Gordon. WOW
