He's also been a massive cancer on his last two teams. Not sure what's remotely likeable about this guy.In January 2008, Stephenson was suspended from school for five days and missed two games following an altercation with a teammate.[38] In October that year, he was arrested for groping a 17-year-old inside the school.[39] He faced a Class B misdemeanor sexual assault charge, and his parents ended the "Born Ready" reality show following the arrest.[2]
On August 15, 2010, Stephenson was arrested for third-degree assault after allegedly pushing his girlfriend down a flight of stairs.[40] The case was eventually dismissed.[41]

Re: Around the League: Playoffs
He needs to be humbled and will play better on a veteran team where he'll be put in his place. In HS, he was the next big thing and ran wild. He got to Indy and they put him to work to earn his PT because he wasn't ready for the NBA. He earned his PT eventually and was playing well but that Pacers team kind of imploded. Once Granger went down, West was hurt and Hibbert was ineffective, it became Paul George and Lance as the best two players, except Lance shouldn't be a #2 guy on a team. That's when he started acting out and thinking he was better than he really was. He's a very good role player but probably best as a 3rd or 4th option offensively and should just focus on defense and setting others up on offense. He's a got a very good feel for the game but needs to be kept in check.
The Clippers are definitely betting that their team can straighten him out. Rivers, Paul, Griffin, Crawford, etc.

Similar things were once said about Zack Randolph. I think in the right environment, with people that can give guidance and tactfully kick ass, many problem children will get with the program.

Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

Also they just get older. A lot of people are knuckleheads when they're 23 and normal when they're 30.

I don't think Marcus Morris will ever make us regret trading him. Markieff, maybe.

So what does it mean that we traded for the other. I still can't believe they don't understand what a huge favor that was. They should be kissing the franchise's ass.Superbone wrote:Yep, we drafted the right brother for once.In2ition wrote:AgreedShabazz wrote:I don't think Marcus Morris will ever make us regret trading him. Re: Around the League: Playoffs
i think it would be stupid to trade keiff especially right now . It would be worth it to wait to see who the next coach is - maybe somebody who doesn't use the same on court discipline as a kindergarden teacher could help get him under control. He is a clutch player and he is a pretty good type of player to have on court - off court he sucks though.
We really have shit assets so we might as well not jump the gun to bring in David West and a second round pick or something.

Re: Around the League: Playoffs
I think Wade is just trying to get Miami to raise his offer. Why would he go to the Lakers to end his career, when they are going to stink for the next few years?
Re: Around the League: Playoffs
Yea, there are always a ton of rumors like that heading into free agency. I don't think Wade is going anywhere. The only other logical place I could see would be Chicago because he's from there and his kids are there (IIRC) but even then, Jimmy Butler would have to leave or slide to the 3 and even then, that's a lot of guys who need the ball in their hands (Rose, Butler, Wade and even Gasol).
Re: Around the League: Playoffs
I saw some rumor on Twitter that Dwyane Wade's dad was spotted in public wearing a Cleveland Cavs jersey or shirt or something, causing rumors that maybe he wanted to go to CLE to be with his pal. But I really doubt that, too.

LaMarcus Aldridge put his Portland's home in the market, now that's a sign worth consider, even if it also posturing.
Re: Around the League: Playoffs
The situation in Sacramento seems to be a complete train wreck. Karl wants Cousins out. Coursins doesn't want to go, but doesn't trust Karl. It would be just typical if he pushes his way to the Lakers.

Re: Around the League: Playoffs
There's not a whole lot I wouldn't trade for Cousins. Too bad we don't still have the Lakers pick. Our first this year, that pick, maybe Bledsoe for their #1 and Cousins? If things are really that bad over there, that's not a bad deal for either team.
Re: Around the League: Playoffs
The Kings are a legit mess. Ranadive wanted Malone out and wanted Karl in. Now Karl wants Cousins out, while Ranadive doesn't want to trade him. So he's meddled when he wanted, but now is basically dumping everything on Vlade, saying he's in charge of basketball. Because of course, Vlade has a ton of experience as a basketball exec and will be able to figure this one out.
