Wolves look like they could badly use KD tonight…almost halftime and they’ve got 28 points…Ant at the line with 0 points and just missed the first one

Remember how we could have had Haliburton?
Haliburton and the Suns weren’t aligned back then
Did you notice how Gregory explicitly promised to pass on more superstars in the future if they aren’t “aligned”?

That's nuts; that has to be the first time that has ever happened in NBA history.

BTW this year's playoffs have been excellent so far. I am really enjoying almost every game and series.

Another thing I feel watching these playoffs is the contrast against our Suns. These teams are all playing hard, mostly playing smart basketball, and they DEFEND. They are just on another level compared to the Suns this past season. We were awful on defense. It is hard to see it as clearly when you watch mostly your own team, but seeing all these playoff teams, they are leagues ahead of us on that end of the floor. We have a lot of work to do if we want to be a good team again.

These playoffs have been great. Lots of fun games and matchups. The physicality the league is allowing is also playing a part in the more competitive play I think.

To that point, the roster needs an overhaul badly. The only two I'm sure of who could play this style of basketball in the postseason are Book and Dunn. CG and Oso might be there as well but could struggle for different reasons. The rest of the team is either soft, small or not athletic enough to compete with these other teams.

It’s nice to watch some good, fun basketball after watching our team for 82 games. 😂

Wow. That tweet ("overrate THAT") is actually a beautiful piece of art. For some inexplicable reason the NBA players anonymously voted Haliburton the league's most overrated player this year, which seems WILD to me. Hali is legitimately very good? Why would be seen as most overrated? It feels like more of some kind of popularity contest or personal beef IMO. But great clap-back tweet after a legitimately exceptional clutch 3 to steal Game 2 and go home 2-0 after completely stomping your opponent on their own home floor in both games. Spectacular; great job all around.

Haliburton is one of those guys who is better 5 on 5 than he is 1 on 1. Players watch him and think "I could take him 1 on 1; he's not that good. Definitely not an allstar."

True, players always gravitate to the 1on1 guys.

They really should put a 1v1 competition into the all-star stuff. Of course people would just decline to participate.

I feel like the overrated thing maybe stemmed from last year when he was a breakout player in the in-season tournament and everyone was calling him the next superstar. Then he came back down to earth the rest of the season but he's still regarded as a "superstar", which may rub some players the wrong way. Really good player but he's probably a little overrated generally IMO.

MIKAL with the block to secure the win for the Knicks! Up 2-0 over Boston, winning both games on the road. Wow.

I'd trade KD for him straight up, no picks, if you could temporarily disable the salary cap and trade restrictions and such. How's that for overrated?

Mikal just makes so many winning plays. Knicks fans have been down on him but he comes up so big in those moments.
