I read that he has been going through a terribly messy divorce and that's what's causing him to play like shit. So I personally would wait until the offseason to try and acquire him since he's going to be mindfucked the rest of this one.

Not just that but the stuff going on in France is hitting him hard apparently.

But yeah he's been bad. 25% from 3? 39% from the field? Those are all way off his averages. I think he will bounce back.

I've never been impressed with Batum and always felt Portland's organization overrated him. And when you run 2 point guards like the Suns do, a do-it-all, ballhandling/distributing swingman doesn't have much utility, certainly not enough to justify his salary and giving up assets.

I'd do Batum and Leonard for IT, Tucker and Plums in a heartbeat, but I believe Portland wouldn't remotely consider it, even with Batum struggling so far this season.

I think Batum and Diaw got together this past offseason and had too much good wine.

I like Mirotic a lot, but the kind of package you're talking about... Tucker, Plumlee, IT3, Goodwin and a 1st? That should net you more than him.

I wish I could agree with you guys but do you honestly believe pieces like these can get the Suns anything close to a current star? If you were the team owning that kind of player, would you give him up for such package? I sure wouldn't, but I'd love to see what kind of names you have in mind.

I don't know but a starter, a 6th moty candidate, a 20 year old with world class athleticism, a 7 footer with a 40 inch vertical and a 1st rounder should net more than Mirotic. Maybe I'm over valuing our players?

Both Bulls and Suns would probably say no.

On the other hand, one could say that PJ is just a regular 3D role player, IT indeed a 6th man but flawed, Miles has played like nothing more than third string this year, Archie is just a sweetner and the pick is protected.

Everyone deals with stress in different ways. For me, the court was my sanctuary. When stress was going on in my life, I could go to the park and clear my mind. Maybe that's the difference, idk.
