Totally reasonable and in no way an indictment on Ayton for a team trying to make the playoffs to come to the conclusion that they’re better off giving minutes to… Hansen Yang?
Of course y’all turn it into a negative when the truth is actually the opposite, per Shams:
Ayton and his representatives approached the Blazers about a buyout and Ayton wanting to play in a winning situation, sources said.
A buyout is not a good thing though..it means there was zero market for him at his price range. Will be interesting to see what Portland is willing to pay him to not play for them…or how much Ayton was willing to give up.

That is also speculation. Perhaps the Blazers did not want to return that amount of salary in a trade. The Suns would have been better off buying him out than the return we got. We would have still had Camara.

Marks says 8-10 million on the buyout because that’s probably what his market is. That’s a decent savings for Portland. But also means they would have gladly traded him for Nurkic back as it would save them basically double the buyout.

At some point you’ll need to see that fault also lies with Ayton.

Just like KD, never done anything wrong in his life. It's always someone else's fault.
The Lakers would only consider doing that if Lebron and his agent demanded it. And probably not even then. And they won't demand that, so it doesn't matter.
