Nope. Injuries (availability) aside he’s not a real PF and not what we need.
We don’t need both Royce and Grayson and if we are moving one of them it needs to be for a proper PF. We don’t need to bring another pf/sf/sg type in.

Nah. Loved him while he was here but the availability issue is real and we don't need more of that. Royce was reliable. Grayson was the unreliable one.
Yeah, I think he just misses too many games for my taste. I'd rather have 75 games of Royce (or however many games of Grayson Allen) than 54 games of Cam Johnson.

Don't look now but Allen has played 57 games per season over the last two years (51 and 64) and was not really available for our last two playoffs series (2024 and 2026).
Trading Allen (and Green) for better fits (PG and PF) and/or cap relief is among my top priorities for this offseason. O'Neale is for sure available as well, but his salary is on the low end compared to production and availability (even factoring in age).
Cam Johnson, while not an ideal forward as pointed out by England Sun, is still a better fit, represents no long term money and we retain shooting.
If DEN is willing to put their #26 on the table, I am very interested in working out a deal with them. They also have the #49.
But if I am DEN I am probably adamant that any trade involving the #26 comes with some team swallowing Zeke Nnaji's deadweight contract (7.5M per expiring in 2027-28). And in any case, before doing this with PHX I try to explore options for a bigger fish by using Cam, Valanciunas $10M (only 2M for 2026-2027) and Zeke as salary ballast, along with the #26 pick and whatever future draft capital I still can move. But yeah, if nothing better comes up I could see them interested in adding shooting (and a little of playmaking from Allen).

Wouldn't be my preferred trade or something at the top of the list. Feels like making a trade just to make a trade but if nothing else is out there I'd think about it.

That's basically my take, as well. I would want draft compensation and I just don't see why Denver would do that.
It's true that moving from 6'4" Grayson to 6'7" Cam is an improvement, but I think we can get something better for Grayson than a mostly lateral move.

I think Tre Jones, PJ Washington, and
Goga Bitadze are realistic for O'Neal and Allen.

Given DeAaron Fox's historic fumble in Game 4 (and his generally poor play in this Finals), I bet the Spurs are going to try to ship his ass out of town this summer. And while his struggles and flaws are real, I actually think the reaction to the Finals will cause him to become underappreciated and undervalued. I think he'd be a good player to try to grab at 80 cents on the dollar.
What about trading Jalen Green for DeAaron Fox? Green makes $33.5m while Fox makes $37m, and Fox's contract runs longer (5 years vs 3), but I think Fox would mesh better with our current roster. We badly need a veteran starting PG, and we need a non-chucker at guard next to Booker. I think the addition of Fox, plus the addition-by-subtraction of Green, would be a net positive. Given how hated Fox may be this summer, we might even get SA to throw in a future 1st or something.
Thoughts?
EDIT: I think Fox's extension may kick in this summer and raise his salary up near $50m? If so, we might have to throw in another player like Royce O'Neale to complete the trade. But given that huge salary, we would definitely want to demand pick(s) from the Spurs to clear him off their cap sheet. But again, salary aside, I think the dude is a solid starting NBA PG and will be an undervalued asset this summer for sure.

Fox is really, really, good, but I don't think you trade Green for him unless you're getting something significantly more. There are some really solid free agent PGs that I think are very gettable for much cheaper. I think Collin Sexton would be a great pickup. Coby White too.

I like Fox, and agree that he will be gettable this summer. It will be interesting to watch his story.
But I don't think there's a deal that makes sense for either the Suns or the Spurs. The Spurs just don't want Green and the Suns don't want veterans.

Spurs could use Allen and Oneale for shooting and vet leadership. You can send Green elsewhere if you wanna go after Fox.
I don't think Fox changes much for us personally, we'd still have a really bad 3pt shooting back court and just be getting older.

FWIW. Fox is 28 years old. This past season he averaged 18.6 ppg on .486/.332/.760 splits, 6.2 ast, and 3.8 reb in 31 minutes. Played in 72 games. Turnovers a bit high at 2.3 / game, but he's got the ball in his hands a lot so I don't think that is such a bad number. Anyways, not an all-star PG but I think he'll be an under-valued asset after this big choke in the Finals. It probably doesn't make sense to try to do a Green/Fox swap but I would definitely take him on our roster if there were a way to get him. Don't see how we would make the salaries match without including Green in the deal though.

Is this for real? Book changing his jersey number from 1 to 15?

Since it was removed by the moderator, I'd guess not.

Maybe it isn't a big deal, but I don't think it's good form to take the number of one of your existing teammates while they're a free agent. I get that Book is one of the greatest Suns ever and maybe has the right to ask for any number he wants. And Maybe Williams is cool with it, maybe he's going to change his number as well. Or maybe Williams isn't coming back. But it's pretty weird to just take a number already in use by another player who is theoretically / possibly still on the team and coming back next year.

It's all about the jersey sales. I'm just going to stich a 5 after the 1 on all of mine.
