I'm glad to see he's putting in the work. It's always good to work on the fundamentals.

There were many fans sitting around us screaming every time Ayton got the ball or whenever the PA announcer said his name terrible things. "Ayton you suck! Ayton, go to hell! We HATE you!". There were plenty of kids near us too so no idea why they thought it was appropriate. And lots of people would look around laughing too when it was being said. Pretty embarrassing display by Suns fans last night.
Ugh.

Ayton seems like a pretty good guy. He just doesn’t have a head for basketball.
I think he deserves if, frankly. Just as I was one of his biggest defenders, I am now one of his biggest detractors. He should have dominated in Portland. Instead, he proved his critics right.

I watched late last night. Good thing my wife sleeps soundly because I was yelling at the TV in the fourth.

I will say, he did bring a lot of it upon himself. He insisted on being the #1 pick and then he always talked about dominating and DominAyton but always played with a finesse, no-contact style.

He practiced this for a good 5 minutes. We were all watching wondering why the coaching staff didn't care. He practiced long Steph Curry 3's but as hook shots for another 5 minutes or so too.

This is just who he is as we learned in his years here. A fun loving guy that likes to have fun on the basketball court and on his couch with late night sessions of 2K. He's not going to ever change into a serious basketball player. It's just a means to an end. He's set for life financially now and got his goal of that second contract. The sooner everybody realizes that, the better. Portland is a great place for him. They don't have a lot of expectations.

That was definitely the highlight of the night. Tons of hustle and great ball movement.

The 3rd quarter gave us an idea of what this team is capable of.

Exactly. If we can do four quarters of that in the playoffs (all in the same game ;)), watch out!

I hate to say it, but so did the 4th.
