Well, at least we know why Popeye has that look on his face now.

Definitely wouldn't mind it. Bring him off the bench and have him close some games when needed. Don't know how things ended here with him tho and all the Isiah stuff.

Tell ya what, CP3. If you come back for one last season, we promise to banish Isiah Thomas from talking to Ishbia or coming anywhere near the team. Deal?

For the year? Or forever? :P

Looks like he might get the third contract after all…. Probably a year or 2, with a 3rd year team option. No one will sign him to longer than that, and won’t be max…. Freaking Monty.

Come on, man. You really thought you were going to beat Jeremy to this news? He got you by 7 minutes.

Looks like that's at CP3's basketball camp. Booker is wearing the shirt and there's a giant banner on the wall.

Others in the game include Derozan, Coby White, Malik Beasley, Rudy Gay and Devon Reed. Couldn't figure out who a couple of them are.

I prefer CP3 to Westbrook if only for the mentorship factor.

Westbrook is widely lauded as a great teammate, but I think Paul is one of the better "teachers" still playing.

Would love for CP3 to do for Maluach what Harden supposedly did for Zubac (on offensive end).

Would love Chris Paul back but how is he coming here exactly? On a minimum deal? How can that be profitable for Frito-Lay?

I don’t see why he’d do that. Can the Spurs sign and trade him to us for Cody Martin or something similar? That doesn’t seem 2nd apron legal tho.

What is Danny Ainge Drinking?
What was the reason to get rid of Monty again? Oh yeah, that guy we drafted rather than Doncic.

+1

A lot of these trades; while I might not agree with them I can always understand the rationale. It goes for basically all of them this offseason, I get why Portland traded for Jrue, I get why NO gave Poole a chance, I even get why Brooklyn drafted four non shooting pgs and fields 5 rookies.

This Sexton trade has me totally baffled.

LeBron has been linked to the Mavs.

I think Nico should absolutely make it happen. I need to see a fanbase simultaneously self combust for once in my lifetime.

Maybe we can get in on this and make a three way trade, Beal to Lakers to help Luka as secondary creator, LeBron to Mavs so he can claim credit for Flagg, and PJ Washington and Donte Exum to the Suns so I can be happy.

IMO there's no way Lebron leaves the Lakers this late in his career; the upcoming season will probably be his last. My guess is he is just talking about wanting to contend for a title as a way of putting pressure on the Lakers to go make some splashy offseason moves and not just stand pat.

I like your thinking but think the new Lakers ownership would be scared to do a deal for Beal given his contract.
