Villain on the court, good all-around guy off it.

How can the projected worst defensive team be #3 in defensive efficiency?!

People that get paid to talk about basketball don't actually know anything about basketball. It's insane.

I don't think we're quite as good as those numbers suggest but I also think it's fair to say we won't be a bottom 5 team in the league. We've established an identity, are executing at a high level on both ends and are a legit 9-10 deep with everyone knowing their role and playing it well. But we have had a soft schedule to start and the next 15 or so games will really let us know where we stand. They say it takes 20 or so games to know what's what in the NBA so I wouldn't be surprised to see some regression when we play the top tier teams. But, aside from the Jazz and Grizzlies losses which came when we were still figuring things out, we've beaten the bad teams convincingly which is what you need to do. It's actually probably better we're not 10-3 because then we get exposed as "frauds" when we play the better teams. Better to stay under the radar for now and surprise people.

Last year's team comes to mind.

For us locals, here's a chance to see more Fleming and Man Man. Looks like tonight's home opener won't be broadcast until tomorrow at 7 pm.

It's fair to say most of us had lowered expectations coming into the season
Even if folks want to say the schedule has been soft.....
This is a ridiculous stat

I was so amped for Jalen's debut and before I could start rambling about how we might be lucky to get him at a stage where he might be starting to mature a little
The injury happened again
Was to share this before
I know there is still concerns about "Fit" and if he disrupts things by playing selfish or not smart, whatever folks might be thinking.
But his enthusiasm on the bench is clear every game, as Grayson said he seems to be just another guy fully bought in and Part of the TEAM
Anyways, have to wait til next year to see how it goes but searching for Grayson update just now I remembered this tweet

I really want us to start giving him 5-6 real minutes a game. I think he could become quite useful for us.

Also, suns are 6th in offense, 11th in defense, and 8th in net rating so far…seems pretty good.

Coaches coaching, players buying in, it's like post bubble Suns before it fell apart. Vogel and Bud were so fucking useless lol.

I agree with this article. It was tough to cut Butler, but I think Goodwin has shown that he was the right pick. He is a bit inconsistent but has brought defense and hustle every game.
