High-motor habits are beginning to take hold for Maluach and Fleming The Suns sent their rookies to the G League again and they’re building NBA-ready traits.
Plus the OKC debacle didn't help any. Can't wait until we get reinforcements back. We won't know how good this team can be until we have both Book and Green for an extended run. (Knock on wood.)

That shift is probably almost completely explained by the OKC game.
Also for the Sabonis rumors…it really isn’t anything. We are just being mentioned because we’ve had interest in the past. There was nothing in the article with current interest. Sidery just aggregating for attention/engagement

Collin Gillespie open to any role once Jalen Green returns for Suns
I think if you add a Sabonis at the PF, you lose a lot of the 3-point shooting out of that spot. One of our best offensive weapons this season has been to have 4 3pt-capable shooters and 1 non-3pt-shooting big (e.g.Williams). I think changing that to three 3-point shooters and two non-3pt shooting bigs (Sabonis and Williams) could be rough. Hard to say. I do like Sabonis and wish we could test-drive him for 10 games and then give him back if it wasn't a good fit, hah.

Dude! What are you even talking about, man?! Williams shoots three pointers at a 100% clip. Best on the entire team!
I don't think you can be a contender if Sabonis is your C. He can't hit 3s, which is fine, BUT. He also isn't an awesome defender, not a huge bruiser. Good interior scorer and rebounder, but can't really anchor an interior defense nor does he have the raw size and strength to bulldoze opponents and force a basket when you need one.
And I don't think you can be a contender if Sabonis is your 4. He isn't a good enough 3-point shooter and not athletic enough to run the floor and catch lobs and dunks.
I like him a lot, but whenever I actually sketch out what our team would look like with him, it doesn't add up. His dad would be really effective if he played in the NBA today. He was basically the proto-Jokic; he could be a passing big bear center on offense and create havoc.

Would take a unique player in the front-court next to him. JJJ comes to mind. You want someone who can protect the rim, but can be a spacer on offense. I mean Wemby would work too I guess haha.

Agree with all of this. I think I like the idea of it more than what it would probably be in reality.

I think Bobby Portis would be a strong fit in our system.

They did pair sabonis with a three point shooting shot blocking front court partner in Myles Turner in Indiana and look how that turned out.

They went 45-28 with the 6th ranked defense in the league in 19-20. Both were 23 years old. Offense sucked, but they had mediocre guard play and Sabonis/Turner both got better offensively since then.
