We didn’t do ourselves any favors, but refs made sure we were losing. Crazy.

This game really makes me question if instant replay really takes away from the game. Regardless of the outcome that wasn’t enjoyable to watch from a perspective of rhythm.

I know every now and again y'all debate if he's the Goat and so on but I just struggle to be a fan of the guy (on the court)
Yes he's 40 now but have always felt he's a front runner and he really annoys me
Not even sure why Book tried to strip down low, he was just gonna Brick another 3
Man I hate losing to those mofos

Suns would've won easily if the game had flow and the refs stopped calling a foul on every tiny bit of contact.
LeBron got away with so much BS in this game. I'm sure the post-game comments will be interesting.

I don't wanna say we weren't playing hard cause it looked like we were still hustling but it was strange seeing us not getting so many loose balls
Great to see the No Quit again but that 15min stretch in the 2nd half was really rough.
Should never be down 20 to those Fakers

The real reason for the loss was wilting in the 3rd and letting the Lakers go on that 28 point run. But despite that, we could have won this game if not for two crucial mistakes:
1) Brooks's atrocious tech against Lebron after hitting that big 3. Inexcusable. Basically put the game back in jeopardy after we appeared to have stolen it.
2) Booker's stupid, stupid ticky tack touch foul on Lebron's last second heave 3. A lot of blame can be put on Coach Ott here, because I'm not sure why you play a just-back-from-groin-injury Booker on that defensive possession. Booker is not one of our better defenders. It's a last defensive possession after a stoppage in play! You have time to make substitutions. Just play our best five defenders on that play! Play Gillespie, Goodwin, Royce, Dunn, Williams. Done. Five great individual defenders. Anybody but Booker. But once Book was out there, I don't know why he thought he should reach his arms out and gently tap Lebron on a potential game-winning shot. Really bad decision-making on the defense there. Ugh.
It's frustrating that two of our best players made such bone-headed mistakes right at the end of the game.

Not sure what the thought process was behind the challenge
Especially when it costs us the timeout and chance to advance the ball

Booker was vehemently arguing with coach and the bench that he didn't touch him. So they sided with him. Bad choice.
It's at least twice this year that Booker's made a shit defensive play, whined about it to the coaches, and they've taken his side and lost a crucial challenge. Can't win when you play stupid, and Booker's got a bad tendency to play stupid when things aren't going his way.

Only saw the ending on socials but didn’t LeBron foul Brooks on his three pointer? Brooks of course didn’t keep his cool afterwards but seemed fairly clear to me?

I didn’t think it was ever okay to grab a ref like that.

You should have been in the trenches arena with their fans. They are insufferable. So close to shutting them up except for that ticky tack foul they called on Booker.

Booker looks like he may be out of his slump. Good progress we need these to grow. Glad they made a game out of it. Even these games have super fun to watch moments.
Except for his 3-point shooting, which remains bafflingly bad.

Tried telling yall it’s time to trade book…. We’d be better off rebuilding with what we have and getting a lot of missing pieces moving him. Hes cooked.

Frustrating end and 3rd Q. reffing was ridiculous as always and the ref was always siding with Lebron even though he fouled Brooks after the shot.
And book, make 1 3Pt and we are better off, just don't get his 3pt funk at the moment.
Still interested to see what this team brings with Green, much more rim pressure with him going down hill. However, I can see them trying to make a trade to bring in a bigger body with the amount of 2/3's we have.
