Another game with an idiotic replaychallenge. I feel like they should just have a fan there that can veto the challenges or something.

I lost track of techs and flagrants but when you're playing good teams there are going to be close games and you can't afford to give up FTs and possessions. I know the answers are "we don't want to change Dillon" and "we don't want to give up our edge" but you gotta be smart and understand the refs are going to review anything that's questionable now. And it's not just the points and possessions from those fouls but also that the reviews stop the game and take away any flow or rhythm.

This was a tough one; DET is really big and strong and it felt like they were bullying us and knocking us around at times, especially inside near the basket. Grayson tried to carry us through this one and had a great game, especially the 2nd half. 33 points for him! Wow. He put up a whopping *20* threes in this game, making 7.

I thought Cade Cunningham had a great game, which is funny because his stats were pretty mediocre: 10 points on 3-16 (!) shooting, 11 assists, 4 reb, 5 to. But he passed the eye test to me; seemed like a great floor general who controlled the game and made good plays for other guys many times. Definitely the closest thing we have to a Jason Kidd in the 2026 NBA. I also couldn't have even told you that Duncan Robinson played for the Pistons this year, but apparently he does and led them in scoring with 19. Tobias Harris also came back from the dead to have a pretty good game for them with 16 and 7. They just have a seemingly endless supply of big bruising forwards and centers to throw at you; you can feel their size and strength the entire game. Makes sense that they're having such a good season.

Too bad we weren't able to steal this one. It would have been a real accomplishment to get a W here without Book, and we were so close. Oh, well. Moral victory; on to the next.

The refs didn't do us any favors. All the FTs in the 4th for Detroit and none for us? The Pistons were the most aggressive they had been all game in the 4th. Very similar to the last game. They were draped all over us.
