I don't think Dillon makes it as an All-Star, but he's having a spectacular season, no doubt. The fact that we are even talking about him as an All-Star shows he's having a season way beyond what most anybody would have predicted. Basically been our 2nd best player all season and provided a bunch of scoring, defense, hustle, and toughness. Real team culture changer. You can just feel this year's Suns team is built different and has brass balls, doesn't ever give up, and I think Dillon is one of the biggest reasons for that. I have been one of the biggest Brooks doubters but I have come to really appreciate what he brings to us despite myself.
Remember when we thought Dillon was a throw-in on the Durant trade? And that some thought we had to have another trade ready to send him to another team?

Did we think that with Dillon? I wasn’t that excited about him, but figured the suns wanted him. I didn’t understand Green at the time and thought we needed a trade for him.

I may have the two switched. Here is the first reply to the Durant Traded thread:
Ok, the first domino has fallen. It still remains to see what other changes are going to be made. If we keep both Green and Brooks lets see what Ott can do with them. We might be surprised (hopefully in a good way).

Ishbia and Gregory knew what they were doing. He was a must for them in the trade and the Rockets didn't want to give him up.
Suns injury update: Jalen Green questionable with new injury
TLDR: hip contusion
I was afraid of that and I have tickets to the game tomorrow.
He’s already on minutes restrictions for his hamstring and now this? I’m no doctor but him playing would seem irresponsible. I fear he comes back and then is hurt again and done for the season.

One thing I find funny about this iteration of the Suns is how we basically take a bunch of Charlotte's garbage and turn it into a successful rotation of big men. Miles Bridges would fit the pattern (though I don't think he really makes sense for us for a number of reasons).

About halfway down the page is an interview with Mark Williams and then Collin Gillespie.

I’m sure this will be the last post on this thread but a more detailed breakdown of the suns in the valley suns tonight.
There is a nice dunk highlight package on instagram from Fleming and maluach, including a sweet coast to coast by Fleming. Maluach has 6 offensive boards
However them and Brea shot a bizarre 2-25 from 3pt
Koby Brea (Starter)
• Points: 15
• Rebounds: 6
• Assists: 2
• Steals: 4
• Blocks: 1
• FG: 6-18 (including poor 3-point efficiency) Brea contributed across the box score with activity on both ends, though his shooting wasn’t efficient.
Rasheer Fleming (Starter)
• Points: 16
• Rebounds: 7
• Assists: 2
• Steals: 4
• FG: 7-19 Fleming logged solid counting stats with defensive plays and rebounding, but like Brea, shot inefficiently overall.
Khaman Maluach (Starter)
• Points: 10
• Rebounds: 14
• Blocks: 2 Maluach had a strong rebounding night with a double-digit board total and rim protection impact despite fewer points.
⸻
Quick Takeaways
✔ Maluach dominated on the glass and protected the rim.
✔ Fleming contributed with hustle plays and steals, though struggled shooting.
✔ Brea filled up the stat sheet defensively and with rebounding, despite shooting woes.
