I really like the Nuggets to go far in the playoffs this year. I may pick them to win the title in the (not yet created) playoff prediction thread.

I hope they do. I have a futures bet on them to win it along with a couple other teams.

Are the Hawks the NBA's most "mid" team?

Speaking of the prediction thread, I think I made it the last couple years, but I’m traveling this weekend and not positive I’ll get it up. If someone else wants to throw it together, that would be great!

Don't know if folks actually watched any of the game or just peeped the score to see who we'll be playing but I'm just here shocked and still choking on The humble pie

Hate Draymond and was smiling seeing him doing the usual antics and patiently waiting on him to get cooked as he was tasked with guarding Kawhi. He was being physcial, scrapping, barking at the refs and I was like no way that old man gonna hang with Kawhi all night.
Well believe it or not, Draymond Shut Down Kawhi in the 4th and it was crazy to watch.....

The big thing watching the game was the refs were letting lots of contact go
Al Horford was also huge man
Steph obviously did his thing and all the clichés for veteran teams probably gonna be used for the headlines/ recaps

I actually think we match up decently against the Warriors. Coach Ott seems determined not to play any bigs other than Oso, and we can get away with that vs the Warriors much better than against the Blazers. All our wing depth and perimeter defenders like Goodwin will come in very handy against GSW. And they have guys like Draymond who you can just double off and leave open for 3s. Steph is still a major problem but I like this opponent much better than the Blazers.

Yeah, I watched most of it and all of the end. The Warriors ran back the clock last night. We'll have no chance if they have another magical night like that. They have a lot of championship experience that we don't.

Some people are upset at this but I think Cade is deserving. He was playing all the games and got injured late in the year. He wasn't sitting out games during the season for rest as far as I know. I know Luka missed 2 because his child was being born but I'm not sure about any other games he missed.

The controversy for Luka is that he also missed a game due to suspension from excessive technical fouls. So he could have qualified if he hadn't whined to the refs so much. But I think the 65 game limit is dumb, and Luka was excellent this year and deserving of all-NBA and MVP vote consideration, so I do support letting Luka be eligible.

Why do we have rules if we just break them when it's convenient? And didn't Booker "only" play 64 games?

Booker maybe could have been given a waiver if he played the final 2 games but he didn’t

Booker's also not a serious candidate for MVP or All-NBA teams this year, so it doesn't matter.

He might’ve snuck on the 3rd team with all the people who didn’t qualify, but probably not with Luka and Cade eligible.

Ishbia has his flaws, but FUCK Robert Sarver. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
