Awesome. They probably had half their team's shots. Would like a little better efficiency from Ennis but 50% isn't bad and 60% from Warren is pretty good.

At least some good news tonight. Warren and Ennis combined for more than half of their total points.

If they keep playing like that, we will have to bring them back and find minutes for them.

Why aren't we sending Len to d-league? He needs it more than those two guys.

I think Len is already able to play minutes in the actual games and doesn't need to be in the D-League right now. NBADL seems to be for young guys who can barely crack the rotation or aren't getting any minutes. Not a guy like Len who can already be thrown out there for 20 minutes and do good work.

This, and a extremely thin rotation in the front court. We are an injury away to see Kieff at center for extended minutes.

And he is the best center on our roster.

Yeah, there's a lot more talent ahead of Ennis and Warren than Alex. Not a knock on Alex. Would be a knock on McD, except this is all consistent with his general plan of acquiring as much value as possible.

When Miles makes a play on defense, it's a move - a jump for a block or a rebound. When Alex makes a play, he's on the ground, maintaining position. I wish we'd let him play offense that way... I also wish we'd play The Future of the Franchise, so we could build the rest of the team around defense and fundamentals... I wish we played an actual shooting guard... I wish Archie could maintain his dribble. I wish, I wish...

Len's interior D and defensive awareness were terrific last night.

I do believe that those two are just about ready to go - it would not surprise me a bit to see something like a Thomas/Tucker (and pick?) package traded for Horford this season.

How about we just start making gameday threads for the Jam?

I'm ecstatic that they are playing so well. But in those clips it doesn't look like the defense is very impressive at all. They just drive straight to the hoop with barely an arm in front of them along the way. It looks like a bunch of And-1 style ball without a lot of structure or discipline.

Yeah, you take D-League excellence with a grain of salt. I don't Warren to drop 40 in a D-League game to know that he can play. But you do like to see your prospects excel under any circumstance, so from that perspective, it is good to see.

I liked the look of Warren's shooting form on those 3pt shots. Looked much improved from his college days.

For sure, it is a great sign to see them go off like that, even against mediocre competition. I think both Warren and Ennis have futures in the NBA as productive players. They sort of raise the question of why we signed Isaiah Thomas and Marcus Morris...
