I also didn't know he isn't liked by former Suns teammates. Interesting to hear that.
did you see oneal's play with the warriors last season while bogut and lee were out for many games?

I didn't. Was he injured at the end of last season is that why no one has picked him up? I just heard something about him being in Germany for treatment.

He said he even told Suns management he was considering retirement.
But a conversation with his grandmother that went well into the wee hours of the morning after his aunt’s funeral eased his mind. So did a stream of text messages he received from his Suns teammates wishing him well, telling him they were looking forward to seeing him again and assuring him that he was missed.

Phoenix Suns' Goran Dragic shoved into LA Clippers's 7-foot, 240-pound center Ryan Hollins, who reciprocated by almost choking Dragic! Suns' center Jermaine O’Neal stepped in but the Clippers’ Hollins dragged Dragic toward the bench.

That is the type of veteran you want on a young team. Someone who is not willing to back down to another team, and someone who will set a great example for the younger players while keeping the team morale high. He is a wonderful locker-room presence, which is another reason O'Neal should absolutely be re-signed by the Suns at the end of the season.

O’Neal is an unrestricted free agent who provides veteran leadership that is sorely lacking in this young Phoenix club. O’Neal had a decent year, scoring 8.3 points and grabbing 5.3 rebounds per game. He is also second among the Suns in blocks, recording 1.4 blocks a game. The Suns should offer a deal to O’Neal. They need to keep him for what he has to offer to his young teammates. These young guys have much to learn from this crafty veteran.

"He's a tremendous player, an amazing teammate and a true leader," Gortat said. "Playing with him has been my best experience from this year.

I also appreciate the research. That being said, I'm not inclined to dismiss the comments by jkalidiway. Quite possible that he has inside information that was hushed up to the media.

Eh, Robot's case was that Len was never going to be healthy enough to play and that his college stats didn't warrant being a top 5 draft pick. Can't really fault him for being skeptical on both accounts. He did say that he hoped Len would prove him wrong and I'm sure that he's happy that it's happening.
Not sure what to say about SDC's McDo issues. It could be a myriad of things, but I think it ties directly into the whole Pau Gasol fascination of his. Then you add in the drafting of a PG when your plan was to have the hydra and drafting of a SF when you're fairly stacked at that position as well. Though mostly I think SDC has his pet players he'd like to see acquired and McDo just sucks because he hasn't acquired them.
Yes it's true -- I Haven't been around much lately - but Len is looking good and obviously I'm happy about it ! Also my 'vitriol' is for the sake of satire - there isn't anything to get that pissed about - it is just a basketball game. If you look at the rest of the world and real problems, it's just a fun distraction.

By the way folks - Alex Len leads the NBA in games played this year.
Well, along with Markieff Morris, Eric Bledsoe, Marcus Morris, Miles Plumlee, Gerald Green, Eldrif Payton and Jason Smith. They all have 39.

Len is better than Wright, and len only came in after dragic fouled out.

Apples and oranges. Different types of players.
And judging Wright's impact on the team after one game is simply silly.

Oh good God. He's probably only had one or two chances to practice with the team.
The substitutions tonight said a lot more about the lack of confidence Hornacek must have in Plumlee more than anything else.

Wright did his part. He made all the FG he took (but a 3 with no time), used his length to contest shots and was active and did well in the pick and roll. That's better production than Plumlee the majority of games, with the exception of rebounding.
I like what I see.

wright didnt move the needle, didnt really give the suns what they need (outside shooting OR post game), and he didnt make plumlee expendable
