Suns filling in the holes on the team. Looking solid at all positions now.

Since joining the Suns, Wright has made 10 of 12 shots (83.3%) putting him at 73.2% for the year (123 of 168). He won't have enough attempts to qualify, but the NBA record for a season is held by Wilt Chamberlain at 72.7%.

There's always room for an efficient big man that blocks shots. Wonder how much he will get offered this Summer. I don't think you can pay him too much more than he's already making but some fool team probably thinks they can make him a starter.

I really like what Wright brings to this team. We needed a guy like that. I'm super happy with the acquisition so far.

It took quite a while to get over my initial shock and disappointment of not landing Jermaine O'Neal but now I feel pretty good about it. Amazingly, he's still available!

I love the extended red-assin' we're all giving SDC about that zany J. O'Neal take. Funny but generally good-natured.

I like Brandon Wright. Plays the pick and roll well. Very athletic. Very efficient.

Anything to read into Warren getting some unexpected playing time in this game?

It was Minnesota and they tried to get a little extra work for the end of the bench. Treated it like a practice game. Even gave Len some time off.

Thanks. Was just curious why TJ was getting a run and only Goodwin was sent to the D league. I'm probably reading too much into things. A Looming Trade deadline will do that to a man.

suns barely won it's last 4 games against mediocre teams. wright not exactly a game changer. just another redundant player in the len-plumlee mold.

serge ibaka used to be a shotblocker/rebounder/dunker type. now he's become a good stretch 4 as well.

he'll be available at the trade deadline. OTOH, if the suns dont look like they are playoff bound, the suns will probably be ruled out as a destination.

the wright trade will not determine whether the suns make the playoffs or not.

I forgot to mention that I think somebody got in IT3's ear. He has been noticeably passing the ball more in the last couple of games.

I like the way almost everybody is playing lately. It wasn't so long ago that we were losing games and freaking out, so the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Really, really like Wright so far.

We have won 12 of our last 16. That tends to make everyone look good. Image
