Didn't see the game. a 6-2 homestand would be successful and encouraging. Bulls have been playing well though lately, beat GS.
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

He always has big rebounding games against us.

Same. Often times very late like tonight.

Losing by a last second shot from the Beard is painfull, but that doesn't mean we suck. Getting crushed by the Clippers wasn't fun, but it happens. They don't suck. Doesn't mean we suck. It means they were better than us that night. The Wizards are in second place in the East. They played a back to back, but that doesn't mean we should automatically win by 40 or we suck. You have to play 82 games and right now we deserve to play in the playoffs if the season ended today and in the West no less. They don't suck, they just aren't the best.

To me we gutted the team and started over last year with a young team. They almost made the playoffs. That was amazing considering. I think they are a year older and wiser and slightly tweaked the team better this year. I think they can make the playoffs barring injury. I don't have a lot of faith that they can go far in the playoffs considering it would be their first shot at it with this young team and the West is stacked as always, but I would be happy with just making the playoffs at this point. Then next year I expect a few more tweaks and maybe landing a guy to put the team over the top. I see that team making the playoffs and going pretty deep, but not quite getting it done. The next year after that I would see as being the year we hope to really make our mark.

I see this as a multi year building thing and we are on year #2 of 4 to 5 years of building this team up. Expecting them to win it all this year I think is pipe dream and I don't think we should get too upset when we squeak out a win against the #2 team in the East at this point.

I have been watching the Suns play basketball a long time. I used to get all stressed watching the games and still do on nail biters, but when the game is over I know it's just a game and I have zero control over who wins or loses. I refuse to let it bother me. They don't give a ratts ass how well we do in life. Why should we allow them to ruin our mood based on their play? They don't deserve that much stature.
Excellent post, Nodack. That is how I feel as well.

4 assists in 14 minutes for him. I also like Jeff limiting his minutes when he isn't on.

Also of note: Markieff had 1 turnover in 36 minutes of play. Outstanding.

Humphries has always been a good rebounder, and I'm going back to his days in Toronto and New Jersey Nets.
Gene is absolutely correct. And who exactly is going to keep him off the boards?

+2. Use to ruin my week during those seven seconds or less days. Now you enjoy the ride...especially in the middle of a rebuild.

when the suns needed a bucket, kieff is the closest thing to a go-to guy for the suns. he's their only inside scorer.

I liked the taped interview that ESPN did with Dragic where they asked him about the Morris brothers. He said something like, "They are always together, they wear the same clothes, they have the same tattoos, ... I can only tell who is who when they wear their jerseys." :-)

That's one thing that really bothers me about the twins. I can't tell them apart. It gets annoying as hell sometimes. To me they are the same person, just cloned. I know they have different numbers and slightly different games, but I am still annoyed. I have been annoyed by their attitudes this year as well with all the BS, so I guess even though they can be clutch sometimes I won't be that sad when they aren't on the team next year.
In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.

That's funny. I can almost always tell them apart by the style they play. Even when you can't see the numbers. They look the same, but they play very differently. Their shooting styles are pretty different too.

What's weird is that they aren't even identical twins.
Go Suns!

Yep, Markieff has a better arc on his shot. Marcus shoots it a little flat. And yes, they play much differently.

Yeah, that really surprised me. I had to do some googling after that to understand that fraternal twins can still look the same. Also, I think Markieff is at least an inch taller.
