Nick Johnson waived by Denver. Grab him quickly, Suns. We have the room for him.

Last I checked we had 15 already. We'd have to waive somebody. Do we really need another guard?

Probably not. I think he's better than Goodwin though.
Go Suns!

We're down to 14 after cutting Henry Sims.

OK, I wasn't aware of that cut. Thanks.

I'm not sure that Nick Johnson is better than Goodwin. I know Archie has been disappointing, but he at least looks like he could be an NBA bench player. I'm not sure Nick Johnson has shown anything at the NBA level yet.

I think he can become a competent 3D, evergy PG with the occasional scoring and highlight burst. Easily third PG material.

What a bummer. That kid was a talented college player that never could translate it to the pros. I'd rather pick up a guy like him than a guy like Cory Jefferson, who apparently has made the Suns final roster somehow.
Go Suns!

But he can't shoot. He's a bricklayer. He gets hot once in a blue moon and uses this to justify a bunch of 2-for-12 type nights. Never thought he'd make it in the NBA.

We got some good contributions from Ish Smith, and he can't shoot either. (His .423 with us was a career high, by far.)

The guy is not a finished product, but his numbers in Arizona were decent, and many players develop a NBA 3pt shot. He definitely has the athleticism andon the Rockets looked like he's got a motor too. Even if not a floor general, I'd take him over Price any day.

We got ourselves a poor man's Hakim Warrick.

FYI, Bill Simmons did an AMA on NBA Reddit yesterday. Pretty fun read with lots of NBA questions.

If you haven't heard yet, he has started his podcast back up again. Recently he did a thorough over/under pod about the Eastern conference.

Oh, man. You and I differ so far on that one. Price is a great locker room guy and great at working the other guys hard. Not only that, he has looked great in preseason. His shot is on and he runs the offense really well. No way I drop Price for him.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Oh, gosh. I just saw. I thought they said he was going to be fine and that it was definitely treatable. Prayers for his family.

I'd take a hard look at PJ3.

And yea, very sad about Flip.
