Really sad. Always hated him as a Sun and resented the Majerle trade. But he was by all accounts a good guy and it's very sad to see him go so soon.

Sad news.
Unfortunately a lot of fans resented when the Suns traded Majerle for him and couldn't separate him from their feelings about the trade.

RIP Hot Rod. I didn't hold any resentment towards the guy, I knew management was reaching for someone to provide interior D.

Simmons dropped a bombshell in his most recent podcast. He said Colangelo has wanted back in the league for years and tried to put an ownership group together to buy the Suns back from Sarver.
