Alright, feeling better. Bled with a jumper to go back up 13 with 1:55 remaining.

Come on, Bled. He misses 2 FT to keep it at 8 points with 45 sec left.

Ok, Bled secures the game deciding rebound.

Suns win 108-101. I hope that helped, Carey. Now I'll go back and read the thread.

How about Bledsoe's line? 23 points, 9 assists, 5 boards, 4 steals, and 4 blocks!

He gets criticized a lot but there's been maybe 3 pg's who've clearly been better than him this year. Not many players in this league can fill up a box score like that.

One of ten such games since 1985. The other nine belong to Hakeem (x3), Michael (x2), Dwyane Wade, David Robinson, Kevin Durant and Charles Barkley. I guess that makes Bleds the first PG to do it.

Moved the Kieff speculation to the Kieff thread.

Yup. He's clearly established himself as the PG between him and Knight.

Knight is a lot easier to stomach if you think of him strictly as a shooting guard.

I have been thinking of him as an SG, which is why in one of the game day threads I was pining for him to add the catch and shoot to his game. I know that he already does that somewhat and the success rate is higher statistically, but I'd like to see him run through screens like some of the other well known shooters in the league in order to become more effective. I think it is less physical punishment to be running away from your defender and dragging them through screens than to take him with you while piling into the paint where bigger men throw you to the ground.

Defensively though... either position he's kind of lost.

BK is primarily the two guard in a Bleds-Knight or Price-Knight backcourt, but he can be the PG on individual possessions, and he's primarily the PG in a Knight-Booker backcourt.

You know you can't defend when Ricky Rubio blows past you for a layup (which he missed thanks to weak side help and because he, well, can't finish).

The shot selection sucked at times but he was feeling it tonight, and made a couple of threes to ice the game when another 4Q debacle was cooking up. Still can't get calls from the refs; zero FT was bullshit but if he's got the reputation of verbal flopper he'll need to get smashed in order to earn trips to the line.

As always, you can count on a number of bad passes and generally dumb plays (ran over by Len). Knight could genuinely be the unluckiest player in the L.

Good effort in the 3rd quarter to build the lead up. Len has been playing like a stud. Glad to see Brandon Knight bounce back also.

One thing about Lueur that I love is how fundamentally consistent he is. I believe that is due to playing 4 years under the great Bo Ryan. He rarely makes a mistake due to fundamentals. Things like keeping the ball above his head when he catches so that smaller guards can't know it away really stand out. I can't imagine how good Len would be if he were coached as well as Leuer was in college. And yes I realize Len stayed in college only 1 or 2 years. Maryland's coach isn't very good either. He kind of lucked out with his recruiting class last year.

Also, that lineup of Price, Knight, Tucker, Tele, Chandler in the 3rd question was cringe worthy offensively. I know Price did some nice things defensively last night but I still think he gets too many mins and ends up shooting too many end of the shot clock shots. Him and Tucker both. It's gross.

Didn't he get 1 year under Gary Williams?

Can we just play the following lineup for 48 minutes a night?

Bledsoe-Booker-Warren-Leuer-Len

Would there be any objection to this? :-)

Hmm, I was thinking it was Turgeon but I could be totally wrong.

Being run over by Len wasn't Knight's fault.
