Checked basketball-reference and it's only 8.
"Only" 8? That's a lot. I challenge you to find another player with as many.

ETA: Jason Kidd beats the hell out of Rondo with a whopping 25 double-doubles without points. Mark Eaton ties him with eight.

Yup. Since 1983-84, there have been 111 such games, and Kidd has 25 of them. Rondo is tied for second with Mark Eaton at eight. Nobody has recorded a triple-double without points. (Rondo and Ricky Rubio have come close, recording games of eight steals with double digits in rebounding and assists but not points.)

I'm not as high on Griffin because I think his game is ultimately too dependent on physicality and I just don't think his game is going to age well.
He makes jumpers now, though. And he still handles the rock, and scores inside, etc... The fucker is gifted.

Brian Geltzeiler: In taking to people around the league on who has been made available in trade talks a very surprising name has come up: D’Angelo Russell
– via Twitter hoopscritic
Umm, yes please. Booker and Russell back court. How do we make this happen?

Pass on Russell. He's Evan Turner 2.0.
Also, the Lakers HAVE to be kicking themselves for screwing up that pick.

No way. He's legit. Byron Scott just hates rookies. He's got amazing court vision and great (cover your ears) passing skills. He's only like 19 or 20 also. He's a gamer and a hard worker.

How hilarious would it be to trade Knight to them for.... one of their future first round picks!

I can't see that happening.

I like him too. Have since college. He's not in an ideal situation for his development, to put it mildly.

Even if we decided IT was not the right fit for us, can you imagine how much better positioned we would be right now if we never traded for Knight?
