I have checked as thoroughly as I can. I believe this to be a true fact.

Devin Booker is the first Suns player since Amare in 2010 to have a six game run averaging more than 25 ppg. (25.8 in March).

None of Goran, Bledsoe, Nash, IT, Green, Knight, Kieff etc, have done it.

Brow, KAT, KD, Kawhi, Curry, Klay, Greek Freak, just off the top of my head.

I think he could be better thank Klay. The rest sounds about right. I'd probably think long and hard about Russ and Blake. If we are being honest though, Devin is not ripping off 30-point games if Eric, Knight and Warren weren't all injured. There's just no one to score to ball so he's doing it by necessity.

He's going to be very, very good. If the front office doesn't move one of our PGs they are pretty ridiculous.
Go Suns!

Yeah I wouldn't do it for Klay. The others seem pretty obvious.

What about the 3rd best Warrior?

Who on that list would you not trade him for? Klay is the only questionable one. And I love Booker and have no desire to move him, but there is a lot more players the suns would move him for. The list doesn't even have Westbrook or LeBron on it.

You'd say no to Lillard, Wall, Paul George, Jimmy Butler, Draymond green, Griffin, cousins, Irving, drummond, porzingis, Carmelo, and Harden?

Does free agency matter in this game?

Because Lebron is still pretty dominant, but those two years contracts, really turn their teams' FO into hostages. KD is up these year, Westbrook next.

That was part of my game. Sure Lebron is amazing. But he is a FA. And your point on Westbrook. It makes my list short.

Have you seen the way he's been playing lately? Over the last 10 games or so the Bucks have benched MCW and Monroe and are giving Giannis PG functions. The returns have been fantastic. 4 triple doubles, only one game under 6 assists plus his regular amazing stuff on both ends. He is delivering already on all accounts but 3pt shooting. Born dec '94. The potential is proving to be limitless. Booker is outstanding, but the Freak is orders of magnitude a better prospect.

Without hesitation? Davis, Kawhi, Giannis, KAT, Porzingis. In terms of vets and disregarding contract status, Curry, LeBron, Durant. Westbrook, Blake (because really, come on). Nobody else is an automatic yes, including Harden, George, Cousins. No thanks to Wall, Drummond and Butler.

Carmelo? Are you fucking kidding me? And I'd say no to Lillard, Wall and George because they've hit their ceiling. Booker is 19 years old. Green won't ever be a 1st option on offense. Cousins is a headcase and a cancer to a locker room and yet we continually bring him up as if Markieff Morris wasn't a lesson learned. Harden has peaked and is also not a team guy at all (that puts zero effort into defense most nights).
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

At this point, I think I keep Booker if we're offered the Zinger. Kawhi is great, but I'll take the 8-9 years remaining on Booker's deal and his youth over Kawhi and his 3 years. I'm not disregarding contracts, because that's all that can be traded. I would be strongly tempted by the Freak and Davis, despite the contract differences. No go on Klay and KD (whose contract is about to expire). I'd trade for Curry regardless and for KAT without hesitation.

You can't disregard contracts. If we didn't have the eventual RFA rights on Booker, the evaluation would change dramatically. That makes Curry and KAT for sure. Freak and Davis I'd strongly consider... but the question is, can we put a contender together in the 4 years left on Giannis's contract (after extending) or the 3 years left on Davis's? The window is simply a lot bigger with Booker. We're in position to have a bunch of young players under long-term contracts, and I don't think you mess with that.

One player who is remarkably yet also clearly not on the list of players we'd trade Booker for - Wiggins. Or anyone else in that draft class, for that matter. Crazy.

I wouldn't trade him for Carmelo, but I think the question is relevant, Carmelo is significantly better than Booker is right now and NY wouldn't trade him straight up for Booker.

I don't know how you can say Lillard, wall, and George have peaked. All 3 have continued to improve each year, especially Lillard. Even if they have peaked, all are still young and at a very high level, a level I'm not sure Booker ever reaches.

I'm glad we all love Booker, but he's definitely getting overvalued. People saying they wouldn't even trade him for KD, Westbrook, or Kawhi? That's absolutely insane. And teams like Houston and Sacramento would hang up the phone if we offered Booker straight up for harden or cousins. They've both got issues, but they are both legit superstars and top10 players.

Except that you can't trade players. You trade contract rights. OKC's rights to Westbrook are very limited - 1 year. OKC owns ONLY the right to give KD a better contract than anyone else. The Spurs own the right to Kawhi's services for 3 more years. We have the right to Booker for 3 more years, and then 4-5 more years after that. That gives us plenty of time to build a contender.

It's not insane. It's math. Wait til you have a contender before you trade for established superstars, because if you don't, they'll leave you holding a big box of nothing.

I think a superstar with problems can make it Hard to win it all. Does anyone see Houston winning a title with Harden? Cousins is a tougher call, because let's face it, players on the Kings are allowed to get mad :) Who knows what becomes of him on another team.
I'd take Booker for Melo if I were Knicks from basketball standpoint though (theoretic trade ofc). I'd also take Porzingis for Booker. But this is more stats&highlights assesment. I'm no pro :)

MCW is getting surgery on his hip and is out for the season.

I don't think the question is relevant. Carmelo is on his last third of his career at best.

I'd take that bet. If Carmelo waived his no-trade clause & contracts didn't need to match I would stop just short of betting my car. NY would get out of Melo's ridiculos deal. Have cap space to sign basically every FA and be set at the 2 & 4 for the next decade. They'd say yes before you finish asking the question.
Go Suns!

You guys are crazy if you would not trade Booker for Kawhi Leonard or Klay Thompson. Book has been awesome as a rookie, but Kawhi is the 2nd place MVP this season, and Klay is one of the best shooters in the NBA already. Serious overvaluing of our own assets in this thread.
