-24 in a game his team lost by 3 points. What a bum.

I assumed he’d keep hanging around, but I actually think there’s a chance Ayton is out of the league in the next 1.5 years. He’s got a player option he’ll definitely pick up, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t finish that contract.

He was so so good in the playoffs during our finals run. Used that to get his second contract, then checked out immediately. Really sad waste of talent

I love how Ayton compared himself to Clint Capela, where I'm sure the Lakers would be ecstatic if Ayton consistently played like prime Clint Capela. The poor guy just has no self awareness.

I'm looking forward to the next time Capella and Ayton square off... Guarantee Ayton's eating his lunch.

I still can't believe Jeremy defended this bum as much as he did. Was anyone ever able to confirm that he wasn't actually Ayton or Ayton's parent?
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I really thought we had our defensive anchor. He was perfect in that role, then kind of gave up after that.

It was funny reading that ESPN article and seeing those quotes from the Lakers' team sources about Ayton. They were almost the exact same things ESPN was quoting from Suns' sources during the contract negotiations and eventual trade 3-4 years ago.
