Yes, and afaik the players aren't making a dime off of it so it's dumb owner grubbing nonsense.

Does Chriss qualify for garbage time if he's a starter?

I want him to get as many minutes as possible.

I wonder if McD and Sarver are watching this game thinking "Wow, we just blew a team out, we're so close, playoffs is still possible!!! Should stay PAT sand maybe add a piece without giving up anything to make that playoff run!".
Probably not but you never put anything past this front office.

Ingram and Russell are a loooooong way from being productive NBA players.

I thought they were creating two extra two way contracts or something. They'd get paid the league minimum rate while with the NBA team and make a decent rate while in the d league. I could be making that up though.

I think Russell is the product of poor coaching, you can see the talent, he gets his shot pretty easily, I'm not sure exactly what he's lacking.

GMs seem to be subject recency biases as much as anyone else. If McD has his head on straight, this is about as good of a time to trade Bledsoe and ensure the tank. Maybe 2 high-lotto picks this year?
Len and Tucker both looked good, too.

Talk about trading Bledsoe? Yes, we can do this every night.

Sure beats talking about that other trade.

They better have made a LOT of money for that crap. That is an embarrassing level of pandering to a sponsor.

Good on Bledsoe for getting that triple double. 25-13-10. Warren kind of came out of his slumber with 11 pts. Len with 15 and 9, but fouled out. Even Jones got off the bench and scored 6; that's got to be his career high, right?
Lakers seem to have a lot of "B minus" players who are okay but not real difference makers. They need to wait for their younglings to get better. Probably need a big FA signing, too. Some good pieces there but they're a long ways away. Sure would be nice to have their LOTTERY PICK.

Well, that was one way to shut up a bunch of Lakers fans. Just blow them out from the beginning and we never even had to hear them.

Bledsoe is playing amazing. I wonder if he suffers another torn meniscus later this season, McD will be in his office sucking his thumb thinking "Damn should've traded him when his value was so high".
And I'm so glad that Jones Jr finally got his first dunk out of the way before the dunk conest!
Speaking of dunks, has anyone missed as many dunks in the NBA as Chriss? Your accuracy must be so dreadful in order to miss as many dunks as he has this season. A bunch of potential dunk of the years that just clank off the rim.
I'm surprised when one of his dunks actually goes through the net.

Yep, it was also nice for him to get 3 in game dunks heading into the NBA Slam Dunk competition.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Chriss played well tonight though. One of his better games. It looked like he was kind of putting it together but then again, it was the Lakers so it was hard to tell.
