D'Antoni must be ashamed and pained watching our current Suns team on offense.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I think Mike is too busy working with the 4th best team in the NBA to worry that much about his former team's offense.AmareIsGod wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 9:48 amD'Antoni must be ashamed and pained watching our current Suns team on offense.
Side note: I would love if the Suns played the Nets in the finals. No Lebron, Curry, or Pop; either the Suns win the championship, or Nash and D'antoni do.

He still does it a few times a game. I agree that it's annoying and pointless. He even does it when there are more than 2 min left in the quarter, so the clock just keeps running. I guess it saves some seconds on the 24-second clock, but then we often don't come close to using the full 24, so what's the point? I guess he gets a few seconds to rest. Good job.
Re: Suns News: Week 14 3/22-3/28
Honestly, I’m fine with it – With all the good things I’ve seen him do for the team in the offense, if he wants to walk the ball to half court before picking it up, no big deal.

If we are ahead in the game, and are running a set play, I get it. It wastes game clock time, which you always want if you are ahead. And it does give everyone a bit of a rest. And it allows Paul to look at the defense and see what they are doing. But I fucking hate it.

It preserves shot clock time too...which I imagine is why it’s been part of his game. Let’s Paul have more time to dissect the defense.

Fair, but I’m not sure that’s always Paul’s fault...last night I remember a play where he did hold the ball, but I think the play was developing off ball...Ayton eventually came and screened for him.

Yeah, I just like to complain about it.

Request to the board on the 4 year anniversary of Booker’s 70 point game: Can anyone find an uncut video of the Celtics feed of that game?
Hearing Mike Gorman and Tommy Heinsohn blow their loads as it was happening was a true pleasure.

Who do we cut to bring in Aldridge if he comes?
Frank? Let Moore go and try to find a team that will play him?

Besides, it's not pointless. It gives him more time to operate.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

I doubt we'll snag Redick. I saw him linked to Brooklyn, which makes a lot of sense given what a strong team they have, and because he has his home there.

Ya at this point, he’s not an upgrade from Galloway.
Re: Suns News: Week 14 3/22-3/28
Well, Redick going to Dallas kills the buyout and signing hope. It helps Dallas though, as they missed Curry's shooting more than they thought they would.
