There’s nothing wrong with Beal’s contract. It will take them a year to realize they cannot actualize a 50 mil’ner next to Luka, by which time he will be an expiring deal! And Beal’s expiring contract will coincide with Hillbilly Kobe’s max extension so the Lakeshow will never be confounded by this cap space thing that they clearly dunno what to do with.

Scotto says the Knicks, Pacers and Lakers have expressed interest in Richards. We're looking for draft capital back.

Sidery said we're not focused on CP as a top target in FA.

Of course they aren't. They want to get younger and push the pace. Paul is 40 and walks it's up, don't see the fit.
Love, Hurts.

Random FAs are signing today. I don't intend to try to post all of them, just ones I find interesting. Others of course are free to post whatever they like.

What is Danny Ainge Drinking?
+1

A lot of these trades; while I might not agree with them I can always understand the rationale. It goes for basically all of them this offseason, I get why Portland traded for Jrue, I get why NO gave Poole a chance, I even get why Brooklyn drafted four non shooting pgs and fields 5 rookies.

This Sexton trade has me totally baffled.
I can't qwhite put my finger on what he was thinking either.

IMO there's no way Lebron leaves the Lakers this late in his career; the upcoming season will probably be his last. My guess is he is just talking about wanting to contend for a title as a way of putting pressure on the Lakers to go make some splashy offseason moves and not just stand pat.
Maybe he sticks around for 2 more years so he can play with Bryce.

Prince is…and Trey Lyles isn’t on that list but he’s a FA, a Klutch client, and a former Booker teammate at Kentucky

It will be interesting to see who the Suns target. And who they trade. Richards, Allen, and Royce are all very good candidates. I wonder if any of the three will be on the roster to start the season. If I had to guess, at least 2 of the 3 are gone.

Just me. Makes sense. It’s the only realistic way out of the 2nd apron and if we’re going to do it, we’re going to do it before FA

Sure, but only if Beal agrees to it.

Yeah, that makes sense as to why not to do it. I'm wondering what the Suns internal goals are for next season. Do they expect to make the playoffs? Develop the youngsters? Both?

My expectations are to just play hard and play the right way while integrating the youngsters and not focus on the outcome.

I hope they have some trailer parks in Minnesota that Joe Ingles can fit into.
