Also thank you Coach Ott for not playing Oso much tonight when the matchup doesn't favor him.

Gritty 5 on 8 victory and first road win in a tough arena.

Didn’t get a chance to catch this one. What happened regarding the refs?

They tried very, very hard to put the Clippers back in the game.

The matchup never favors him because he doesn't do anything well except for pass.
Good gritty win. Everyone contributed
I'm still crushed about Jalen.

Yeah, we all are. He had looked very good in all of his minutes. Good thing we're pretty deep and have a good system in place.

There was 3 straight plays that were quite bad:
1. Book goes up for a shot with jones jr draped all over him…lots of contact, shot goes in and they call the foul. Clips challenge and they overturn it to an offensive foul. They claimed DJJ was in a legal guarding position and Booker stuck his arm out…there was literally an inch of space and no room for Booker to go up into a shot…it really didn’t look like an awkward shot at all…just a normal shooting motion.
2. Book drives, Jones Jr jumps towards Book, Book moves a bit to his left and Jones Jr lands on top of Book. Offensive foul called on Book. This one is a little more iffy, but Jones Jr left his feet while Book was still driving…this almost always goes to the offensive player.
3. DJJ pushes off a bit and Book flops trying to draw a foul, but got a tech. DJJ did push off a bit, but Book also did flop. This is the least problematic one to me…

I saw the last quarter and a half and just loved the grit and determination of this team. Book got a rough three calls in a row and wasn’t awesome after that but didn’t need to be. Everyone did their job, played their role and hit the shots they needed to. Williams was winding up for a real highlight dunk in the last couple o f minutes but forgot to catch it when he was free
luckily it didn’t matter and he made things tough enough for Zubac down the stretch and got some big boards.

Book did have a late "and one" which was very timely and beneficial.

Who ever thought we'd be saying this after a handful of games to start the season with a new coaching staff and overhauled roster unfamiliar with each other.

Next 3 are very winnable…we should be 8-5, but have to be at least 7-6. New Orleans, Dallas, and Indy

Indy isn’t a pushover but yeah. I’d take 7-6. Amazing we’re at .500 after two one point losses.

He did and it was! And he wasn’t terrible at all. My point was more that he didn’t have to be incredible for us to win a tough game away from home. That’s a great sign for this team!

Well they are 1-8 with a -8.9 point differential, so they have been a pushover so far this year.

I didn't know that but the two games I watched were the opening night triple OT thriller with OKC and their win over the Warriors so you can understand why I would think that.

Maybe I'm alone on this, since Book himself didn't even protest this one so much, but I'm pretty sure DJJ stepped on Book's left foot and that combined with the forearm led to the exaggerated motion. The commentators also didn't see it though so maybe it's just me.
But yeah those three calls in a row were really bad.
