I really hope some sneaky team uses this tactic come playoff time. So the NBA finally fixes this issue. Just have your 14th guy come off the bench, pick a fight with the other team’s star player. Swing at him, and if said star player happens to look like he swings back, bam, suspended.
At least it's 2 to 1 games but yeah, ridiculous that a guy can come pick a fight with you and you're not allowed to defend yourself.
The Phoenix Suns have a new reputation this season. A new identity. It’s clear as day for anyone paying attention what they want their identity to be tied to.
This team is fiesty. They play hard as hell. They play physical, in-your-face defense. They dive for loose balls. They chirp at you. They don’t get phased by 20-point deficits. Coaches, players, and media are taking notice around the association. So why haven’t refs adapted? Where is the consistency in officiating?
Mark Daigneault and JJ Redick have taken notice, along with the same media that wrote this team off during the offseason...

I like the message but why is this guy wearing sunglasses indoors?

He wasn’t even fighting back, just trying to get the guy off of him. How much less do you expect him to do. Just sit there and get clobbered?

The day off probably won't hurt Williams after playing back-to-backs. Of course this means they're going into a game without Green, Williams, Allen and Dunn.

LOL, we finally get Williams in a back-to-back and then he's forced to take the next game off. Maybe the Suns had an agreement with Avocado before the game...
