Hated that typical bad contested attempt by Book, but glad he got one to go in. Get to your fucking middy like J Will did!!!! Seems to be the only one that can't get to his spot when he needs to
Different situations…game was tied and Book needed to make sure he took the last shot. Also double was coming and better to get up a fairly clean 3 than a double teamed mid range shot. Sure it was lightly contested, but he pulled up in rhythm and Caruso’s contest didn’t impact anything. They played him to take that shot and he took what they gave him and made them pay.

Great win of course. It got shaky in the 1st half when the Thunder built up a lead but it also felt like we were always just a few makes away from getting back in the game. We were missing shots but it didn't seem like it was necessarily because of the Thunder's defense, which was almost just as frustrating because it seemed like we had more bounce than they did. The run at the end of the half got us right where we needed to be and it looked like we were getting stronger throughout the 2nd half while the Thunder couldn't get out of 2nd gear. And anytime you make SGA play the 4th qtr, you're doing something right.
Glad we were able to get that kind of game from Goodwin. I'm sure Thunder fans are pissed about him the way we usually are when an opposing bench player comes in and knocks down all those 3s - "How did we let Goodwin beat us???". Nice to be on that side of it this time.
Really happy to see Oso and Dunn step up. As much as we talk player development with Fleming and Maluach, we shouldn't forget about continuing to develop Oso and Dunn. They're still just 2nd year players themselves and even tho they're a bit older, there's room to grow their games. Oso's been more aggressive attacking the basket and Dunn looks comfortable taking 3s, it's just a matter of making the clean looks. We need those guys against the more athletic teams tho and shouldn't give up on them so quickly.
Nice to see us dominate the boards 49-29, Oso and Dunn with 8 each and Book, Williams and Royce with 6 a piece. We also went to the FT line 12 more times, which is odd considering it was the Thunder but I'll take it. Book finally got the whistle he deserves and it make the difference.

Thanks for pointing out something I totally missed, Shel. Dunn! He hit some absolutely clutch 3"s!
