Also I know ham strings are tricky but is a member of the medical staff about to get their ass fired. Not sure ownership can tolerate 2x reinjury on 2nd game back. I guess jalen knows the rehab program already.
You have to really question the thinking if the medical staff cleared him but he was that fragile. He really didn't overexert or overstretch himself that much on the relevant play. Just kind of a layup, not really much contact or awkward body motion. He lands, and then, uh oh. As you say, hamstrings are tricky, but he shouldn't be out there if his leg is still that tight and fragile that it can be reinjured that easily.
Book even complained that the Suns were being too cautious with Green, and now we are saying they brought him back too soon?

I was disappointed that Ishbia chose to speak up and insist that we weren't trading him. The owner should stay out of things like that.
Of course Ishbia said that; he has essentially made Brooks the face of the franchise. Ishbia doesn't have to stay out of it because he is the reason Brooks is here. You're essentially talking about Isghbia's favorite player.

I'm pretty sure Book is Ishbia's favorite player.

Good to see you as always, INF. What are your thoughts about the Suns so far this season? What would you do if you were running the team right now? I suspect you'd want us to make some moves to acquire some draft picks and young assets; any specific ideas you're bouncing around?

Such a dumb way to injury oneself. Run into a guy that has stopped running because you're looking the other way & you keep going.

I think we're pretty locked into the team we have. I'm sure they're willing to move Grayson, Richards, and Royce, but I'm not sure what that gets them. They probably will be willing to move Dunn because Ott doesn't seem to be high on him. I'd prefer to keep him.

Yeah, it's pretty sad that it could have been so easily avoided if Book was paying attention.
