Clickbait. I haven't heard from anyone that this has actually come up in talks, and the rooky salary scale etc is part the collective bargaining agreement. Owners and the players union would have to agree to this in 2030, I believe.

There's a deep immaturity to all these KD tweets. He repeatedly trashes everyone else around him and blames everyone but himself. It's really striking to read it all. You don't get a sense that he has any sense of perspective or his own role in the ups and downs of his teams. Everybody else's fault, not mine.

I wonder what effect this will have on the Rockets? I have to assume that some of the other players will be pissed off. Will it wreck their chemistry? Will they want KD out, or will anybody else want out? Or will it blow over? I can't imagine KD going to the other Rockets players and being like, "Hey guys, I'm really sorry, you didn't deserve that ..." etc. I could imagine a guy like Jabari Smith saying, "I looked up to you, idolized you. But you just absolutely trashed me in those tweets. F you man." I bet the Rockets will go on a losing streak with a distraction like this over their heads.
