If Sarver had sold to a dude like this I would have bailed on being a fan. Staring down another 20 years with a cheapskate owner is just not worth the energy.

Apparently he made the entire staff check out at 12 pm to avoid late fees for a 7 pm game. Classic stuff.

2.3 billion and he's worried about hotel late fees. If it hurts a conference rival tho, I'm all for it.

Sad to see that for Portland fans, who deserve better. You just know they are headed for a Joe Johnson / Sarver moment where somebody like Scoot Henderson is up for a contract and the boss refuses to pay market rate, so he just leaves.

The stuff about the coaching search is crazy. Splitter's done a really good job there and is highly regarded, especially after taking over from the BIllups stuff. Now the new owner is calling other coaches during a playoff run, was going to offer Mike Malone $4mil who took $7.5 from UNC

After having Sarver for entirely too long, I don't feel bad for rivals having to deal with what we did.

That article about him wanting to pay their new head coach $1m / year is hilarious. Good luck with that, boss.

Hopefully we can buy some first round picks from them.
