I had read about what it was - basically "a 5 minute drum solo" - and thought, that sounds pretty cool but a little excessive and boring. Man, was I wrong. Great ending.
Yeah, he had Dragic sized balls (like your avatar) to do what he did. I loved the double cross reversal.

Haven't seen it yet. I feel as though I need to be in a specific emotional place to watch it.
Nah. It's not Requiem for a Dream. Just a good movie. Watch it in any mood.

Been waiting for a while for this one. Looks like fun. Early reviews say it's a blast. A throwback action movie.

If you're excited about Big Game, you'll go crazy for this one:

I camped outside of a TJ Maxx in San Luis Obispo for 3 days to get tickets to the premier.

I've actually seen it already, but your sarcasm is noted.
I have really heard Big Game is a lot of fun though. People really enjoyed it when it played TIFF.

I'm kind of torn on this one. Is Samuel L. Jackson tight on money? This almost looks like a SyFy channel movie with a bigger budget cum Escape from New York in the woods homage.
It's just jarring, kind of like Cuba Gooding Jr doing that dumb movie with Skeet Ulrich right after winning an Oscar.

Maybe you're not familiar with the last 10 years of SLJ's work? Pull up his IMDB page and have a gander. There are a ton of stinkers on there.... Kite, Snakes on a plane, Soul Men, Jumper, The Spirit. He's not as bad as Nick Cage as far as 'keep gettin' dem checks' but he'll take a job for the money.

I have a soft spot for Jumper just because I love the book series so much, but you have a point. Perhaps I have Marvel bias. That's Nick Mu-Fu'n Fury, man!
(I just remembered he's in Kingsmen, too, which looks stupid).

I thought you were kidding about Big Game. That looks awful.
You really saw that Nic Cage movie???

I watch a lot of movies. Many at the theatre many not.... Some amazing. Some not. I hear the kid in Big Game is hilarious.

I was thinking of checking the books out. The movie wasn't that bad. With a different lead it would have been good. I like Jamie Bell a lot & the twist was surprising in a way.

Jumper - Reflex - Impulse - Exo.
The last one is particularly great.

I like all kind of films because I LOVE film. Almost as much as the Suns. I'm just as at home watching Polanski & Kurosowa as I am watching the latest Nic Cage vehicle. My favorite film maker is Wes Anderson. But that doesn't mean I can't appreciate Michael Bay or Simon West. I also watch a ton of foreign films and I don't mean just The Raid which was made by a Brit. One of my favorite films is Infernal Affairs which was ripped off almost shot for shot by Scorsese for The Departed. Anyhow continue making fun of me if you want. I'll watch it and enjoy it while you guys are being snobs about it.

You can enjoy all kinds of films from all kinds of places. I do as well. But just because something was given a budget and put on camera doesn't mean it's not a giant turd in a dumpster fire.
No one is making fun. Just some good-natured ribbing.

I was pretty underwhelmed by the Ant-Man trailer.
I actually think this fan re-edit made it better.
